The last time I was there the people were not so friendly or polite when I asked for food. Then I was standing there having a conversation with someone I ran into I see bugs flying around in the kitchen and in the store. I set my food back down and did not get it. Very unsanitary to have bugs...

It is an awesome place to grab and go for anything that you may have forgotten in town. There's home made, freshly cooked food for breakfast and lunch.
Friendly faces that have worked there for 15 years or more.

There are not many options in New Kent County, so your choices are limited. The range of options in terms of kind of food is actually surprisingly broad. This is "grab and go." Food quality is just okay. The place is clean but the ambiance is "basic gas station."

Stopped here for lunch on the road. Liked that it was a local deli. But sadly this is more of a gas station and convenience store than a deli. They make sandwiches to order but only basic selections - ham, turkey, bologna, salami, and tuna and chicken salads and some hot case items that looked about …

Good lunch

I go to Ricks about twice a month for carry out lunch. It is always good and I have no issue with prices. I do get food early, so I cannot speak about later in day. The place is clean and food workers seem to know what they are doing.
