Richmond County Day Camp is absolutely the worst camp to send your child to on Staten Island...I Sent my son there a year ago at this time and he absolutely hated it...since the camp was held at Funstation you needed coins to play games...they only gave 10 coins to each child to play games and when they were out of coins in in less then a half an hour they were left to walk around the facility wandering!!!
The Diversity in the camp is extremely Low...and although the counselers are nice they tend to favorite kids over others which leads to ignoring a child they do not like...and some tend to go about their business and not do their job while kids can walk away as they wish!
The Head of the Camp "Larry" is
EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL

I Do not prefer this camp if your child is 10 and older!
Don't take your kids to richmond county day camp they don't care about the kids my kid came home crying everyday he was mistreated they also kicked out my son because i called to complain, do not go there trust me!!!
• My son was attending the camp but due to special need services he was unable to continue to attend. The Camp's policy is to give a transferable credit instead of a refund. The $600.00 credit can be used for the 2011 or the 2012 summer season. I can't afford to lose the money and he will not be able to attend the camp due to need for the special services he is receiving. I am willing to...
