This former Heritage Inn has long been a mainstay for families visiting Williamsburg on the cheap. Following a complete renovation and grand re-opening on October 18, 2003, it now boasts a new look, a new name and a position under the…
Adjacent to Williamsburg's historic area, this resort offers an outdoor pool and rooms equipped with AC, television and modem connection.
We stayed in March 2016. On arrival we were immediately greeted and treated very well. Take the cookie, it's worth it! When we checked in, the greeter asked if we would like to hear a presentation on Westgate. Avoid the presentation if you can help it. We were not time share owners, but the idea interested us. For listening to...
We stayed in the hotel section “Colonial King Guestroom” the bed was new and fresh paint in the room but Air and Bathroom have not been updated or not finished. They were working on some rooms in the section we were in and in the morning they hit something with power and we lost power in the room. Not up...
The Westgate is located within walking distance of the William and Mary campus and Colonial Williamsburg. We stayed in a suite with a spacious kitchen (no pots and pans?) and whirlpool for two. There is no restaurant on site (breakfast is served if you're on a tour). The decor is over the top colonial, but the bed was comfortable and...
We thought this was a reasonable priced hotel and very near all the attractions. We arrived to find the pool non functional for weeks and we were lured into a 90 minute sales pitch on the guise of breakfast. The breakfast and the sales pitch were terrible. The accommodations are reasonable with a kitchen, separate bed and bath and a...
That was what we wanted for our vacation.very nice two double beds room with washer and dryer. You just need to bring your clothes. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance, or prepare your own dinner in the beautiful kitchen with all utilities.
The Westgate in Williamsburg is everything we expected! It's originally a classic Hotel/Motel of the late '60's or early '70's I would assume by it's design. However, Westgate has redone it completely. We stayed in a very modern, one-bedroom suite with a full-kitchen, a large bedroom, a very large bathroom with walk-in shower and a sitting area that included an...
I was traveling through for work. This is a good deal for $69. I stayed in the cottages far away from the hotel. Good location to Richmond Road. Free wifi. Room was a tad dirty but no big deal. Very cool old school hotel.
Stayed here for one night on a little road trip around Virginia, the Westgate Historic Williamsburg is in a good location and the staff where fantastic, we stayed in one of the cottages which looked great, but inside was a little tired, we still had a good nights sleep and everything was adequate, i probably wouldn't recommend staying as your...
I just returned from a four day trip to Williamsburg and stayed at the Westgate. What a truly lovely hotel. The suite was well appointed....full kitchen, fireplaced living room with a wide screen tv, jacuzzi and a huge patio that overlooked the pool (my request). The staff was helpful and pleasant....parking was convenient to my room and the price was...
Having stayed at Westgate Vacation Villas in Florida where we had a two bedroom condo with all facilities we expected more from our one bedroom unit at Williamsburg. It turned out to be a one bedroom suite. No dining room table and a kitchen that was sparsely stocked with utensils and dishes.
The resort is very clean and well kept...
Great location. Many planned activities for owners. Easy to get to historic sites. Limited food options on site. Nice size condominiums, but some rooms can be a bit small. Close to airport. Cozy, warm, and family friendly.
This is a small hotel but it was a great experience for me and my lady. We live in the city where everyone is in a rush and we wanted something different and we this was the perfect hotel. We had the suite with the jacuzzi tub and was amazing. I went through the room searching for something wrong or...
Convenient location, lovely setting. walking distance to restaurants and a few miles from great shopping. Staff members were very friendly and accommodating; shout out to Divine and Darius who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was suppose to accommodate 4 people . It was clean and nicely furnish however...
The grounds and the staff are very friendly and attentive to requests and needs. We asked to be moved because of very noisy neighbors and they accommodated us without delay or much explanation. I also had to call the front desk due to no hot water and they immediately sent maintenance up to fix the issue. The hotel is in...
This is a first-a negative review of somewhere we didn't even get to stay in. I would give it 0 stars if Trip Advisor would let me.
We wanted to get away for Easter weekend, and came across this place to stay. After a relatively quick and easy booking online, my wife was instructed to call to confirm...this is where...
Stayed 3 nights at this location...we had a 1 bedroom suite..it was clean...well appointed..comfortable...and quiet...but then it was early February and there weren't too many people there. We needed something printed and lady at desk, April, was very accommodating and helpful...I would have given a rating of 5 but a couple of things prevented that. There isn't a convenient place...
Not a place we will go back to. If you want to take a warm/hot bath, be sure to ask where
the "boiler' is located. We were on the wrong end of the building and had a lot of trouble
having warm/hot water. There were times when all we had was cold water.
There was no kitchen table. Was able...
This is a beautiful property! We really enjoyed our stay here! We stayed in one of the hotel-style rooms and not in a suite. We did sit through a timeshare presentation which was interesting, but we will not ever do it again unless we plan to purchase. We were interested in seeing how a timeshare differs from the vacation club...
From Divine and Darius at the front desk for competent check-in and out and always welcoming Angela at the concierge desk to our pleasant suite, Westgate Resorts Historic Williamsburg does not disappoint! We keep returning for First Night Williamsburg during our week between Christmas and New Year's. Our one-bedroom was perfect for the two of us. The fireplace is warm...
: a country estate
: the rural or suburban residence of a wealthy person
: a detached or semidetached urban residence with yard and garden space
These are Merriam Webster Dictionary definitions of a Villa. The room we had resembled none of these. We paid quite a lot for a Studio Villa....it was, in reality, a very small room with...
Rooms are nice and location is great. Looked to be up to date inside and historic looking on outside. Gym and pool were nice. Didn't like the early and late calls about timeshares. The last night we had an issue with AC making loud noise. I'm a very light sleeper so it was annoying. Would have moved rooms but we...
Decent place, good location... would give an extra star (maybe even 2) if management called me back to resolve an issue we had during our stay. Bed was sagging during our first night. My wife sank into the middle of the bed while I struggled to keep from rolling on top of her. Bed mattress was replaced the following day...
Uncomfortable check-in when we were ambushed by 'staff member' (who held on to our room key) on the pretext of explaining the area attractions - they asked us to take a '12 question survey' that would 'only' take 1.5 hours - we said no, we were on holiday! We were offered free breakfast, then free tickets and finally free dinner...
The Westgate Historic Williamsburg was perfectly adequate for our overnight stay. The staff was friendly and the room itself was spotless. If this were an $80 or even $100/night room, I would be perfectly happy. However, this is not an $80/night hotel. The one bedroom suite was pricier than other, newer hotel suites in the area. We later found out...
Accommodations were nice - upgraded since first built. Though some of the original design could be seen. Staff was just okay... lacked professionalism like you would find at a hotel of this price point.
I have been to Williamsburg several times and every visit gets better. From the room size to the large tv it feels better than home. They are so gracious and friendly. I was the only one to take in a movie and they still ran the movie. A beautiful room and I loved the Christmas decorations.
We decided on a quick two day budget trip to Willamsburg, Va to see Christmas Lights and experience "Christmas in Willamsburg". It looked like the Westgate Hotel(we didn't realize this was a timeshare) had a good price (and pictures), which we booked directly on Black Friday and got the best deal. Check in was 4:00 and we arrived at 1:30....
We have stayed at several Westgate properties because I have a timeshare with them. Our stay in Williamsburg was pleasant and the hotel and rooms are nice and we'll kept. All our questions were answered quickly and correctly. It is centrally located and all the places we wanted to see were within about 10 miles of the hotel. The staff...
It was a studio in the main building second flour. The room and bathroom was clean. Maid service every day. The only big complaint is that cooling and heating was blowing right at the bed on the head, and the bed was to soft.
The staff were excellent and very professional. Our accommodation was a 3 bed luxury apartment with everything, washer, dryer, full oven and microwave with fully stocked kitchen utensils. We were greeted by a lovely lady, shown to our room and provided with a welcome pack of tea coffee milk etc. In room Wi-Fi, flat screen TV - really great facilities....
I was really looking forward to stay in this place. I've booked it month before our trip. It was a romantic present for my boyfriend. A week before our stay I called the hotel to confirm my reservation to make sure that we are getting one bedroom villa with jacuzzi tub, spoke to concierge to make special arrangements for our...
Stayed over the weekend for a quick Busch gardens trip. Beautiful facilities, good parking and safe area. Food and things to do easily accessible. Major complaint is the $50 deposit for wifi which is absolute highway robbery in 2015. Gym, pool, hot tub, vball, and putting green very nice for stay!
We spent a week at Westgate and enjoyed the facility and the very friendly staff. Our room (studio) was clean and nicely decorated in keeping with colonial Williamsburg traditions. The kitchenette was well appointed for a studio -- microwave, adequate refrigerator, coffee maker and plenty of dishes and glassware for a comfortable stay.
Like many timeshare resorts, expect to be...
We purchased a 3 bedroom westgate time share in Orlando 20 years ago. We have stayed in Orlando and Arizona at Westgate resorts over the years and have been quite pleased with our experiences. We booked a 2 bedroom unit in Williamsburg recently and were given an upgrade to a 3 bedroom unit, overlooking the pool on the 2nd floor....
This is the best Westgate we have stayed at--much nicer than Orlando. Branson was good, too. Close to all attractions and actually is very walking friendly. Easy to walk to a lot of great restaurants and the pool area very clean and nice. This is a good one
really nice and relax with family bush garden is close. we have a 3 bedroom unit 3er floor I'm a west gate owner this is my first time coming here. i went to Tennessee, vacation villa orlando florida and park city Utah beautiful
People need training to know what are they doing, above all communication. No body knows what to do or call about something.
Been Long Time Owners And It Is Another Great Stay. We Had A Studio Complex . Everything In The Room Was Mostly Great But The Dishwasher Was Offset A Little Which Caused The Cabinets To Open A Little Different. But Overall The Room Was Clean And Big Enough For Two Or More . Will Most Likely Be Upgrading To Larger...
This place bills itself as a resort but it's only a resort for those folks who don't understand what a resort really is. We got the room for $82 via priceline so for the price we paid it was more than adequate but if we had to pay the $150 rate they were advertising I would have felt overcharged.
The...
I understand this "hotel" is in all actuality are timeshare accommodations. The one-bed suite was not accommodating for 3 people as stated when I made the reservation. The sofa sleeper was filthy when we pulled it out to place the sheets on it. Don't look in the corners (and beyond). Our rooms definitely had not been thoroughly cleaned in some...
We rented a studio (sleeps 4). It is really small, but we basically just stayed in the room to sleep and that's it. For that, it is great....for more than 2 people though, I would definitely get a bigger room. The pool was great (towels stocked, etc.) and the staff was prompt when we needed extras in the room. I'm...
Would definitely come back. We enjoyed the outdoor pool as well as the great location. Rooms were clean and spacious
Enjoyed our stay. The room was a lot bigger than expected with a kitchen, huge bathroom and washer/dryer which was a nice surprise. It wasn't really within walking distance to Colonial Visit but only 5-10 minute drive to visitor center where we could catch a trolley. It was also very close to restaurants, pharmacy and urgent care which we ended up having to visit while there. I would definitely...
The place is so cool I had so much fun and they were so nice they have cool pictures hanging on the walls the owner has met lots of people like Julius Erving and the rock and bill Clinton I also went to watercountry that's was great and close to the H
We booked a room off of Expedia and it was sold out from underneath us. We were told we were upgraded but we were just thrown in to the last thing available, a handicapped room. The floor was tile (weird) and the bed was on wheels. The stand up shower had a seat in it that would not move and their were dead bugs on the floor. I would not recommend this hotel.
This hotel has some notable strengths but also a few real weaknesses. A few of these can easily be fixed by management--one of my reasons for writing this review.
Strengths: Our two-bedroom suite was roomy and competitively priced. It had a full kitchen with counter stools, a living area (wing chair, love seat, sleeper sofa), a washer/dryer, two BRs, two...
Booked a room for a quick, mid-week trip with my six year old son. We wanted to do Water Country USA, eat some good food, and relax at the pool. Hotel site was quaint, clean, in a nice location - we looked forward to a fun stay. At 6pm on Wednesday, after our trip to the water park, we arrived...
Excellent accommodation, well situated for scenic exploration, Washington, Historic Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown and day trip to Virginia Beach
Accommodations were clean and well stocked. Layout was good for 4 travelling adults. Pool area was not crowded and was a welcome relief after long day of touring.
Rooms we're nice and luxurious, but the studio rooms are a bit small.
The pool and gym were nice for adolescents. Hotel staff was very pleasant. Room was not cleaned or beds made daily.
My husband I just spent 2 nights at the Westgate and had a wonderful experience. We were in a one bedroom villa which was clean and very spacious for 2 people. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great! It's only 5 minutes from the Colonial Williamsburg and is near plenty of restaurants. Our only complaint is...
This was a surprising find of a hotel. On a last minute addition to our vacation we lucked out in finding this hotel. The room/villa was lovely- giving separation between the adults and the kids. The full kitchen and laundry in the room was an added bonus, especially since this was an extension of our vacation. The hotel is located...
Good stuff: Nice place with thoughtful little details, the staff was especially good, and made every effort to make our stay pleasant. Games, bikes, pool, and lots of fun for kids and families. Bad stuff: Fridge didn't work when we arrived and had to be replaced, had to replace the coffee pot twice, they forgot to service our room one...
Booked a 1 bedroom suite. The room was very large, had a living room, an eat-in kitchen with full size appliances, a dish washer, clothes washer and dryer. The bedroom was large with a king bed. A large double vanity, shower and 2 person jacuzzi tub The hotel was very clean. Had a large pool. Would stay their again.
The rooms at Westgate were beautiful. The pool is out in the open, so it is ideal for families with kids. The fitness center and game room are nothing to impressive, but can be useful during down time. Bring your groceries to take advantage of the kitchens in the suites, and you can wash your clothes everyday because of the...
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is nice. We used the pool and my daughter enjoyed it. The room was nice! Bug bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Only complaint was the noise late at night from other guests. We stayed two nights.
Needs a little updating, and a shuttle. Hotel was fine for price.
A satisfying drive from where we live and the shopping was good as well as the eateries.
The light in the shower would go on and off. There was no divider between the bathroom and the bedroom - there must have been some sort of shade/divider in the past but the track was there but no divider. There was a very odd smell on the 3rd floor.
Bed was small, tried to sell time shares the whole time.
The facilities need ALOT of maintenance and cleaning. We will not stay again due to this reason. When we entered the room we immediately smelled an order (musty is best I can describe). The next day we were used to it so let it go. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything in neighbor room very well. Bed was very uncomfortable so we were sore in the morning. The hot tub was not working...
We booked this hotel because it was near Colonial Williamsburg, within 2 miles. We stayed in a 1 room villa, which was very nice, very clean and modern. Enjoyed the hotel pool after a day of walking the Revolutionary City at Williamsburg. Would stay there again if we return to the Williamsburg area.
It exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely come back.
Nice hotel - appreciated that there was a full kitchen in the room but still had some of the Williamsburg character.
Great Stay....no indoor pool, but a great getaway
Very nice hotel, clean room but room was very small.
Approximately 1 mile away from downtown colonial williamsburg. very nice staff, beautiful view of pool!! very clean room and comfortable bed. would return again
Our suite was called a "villa" which was confusing because it was on the 3rd floor. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, a smallish living area and a full kitchen: stove, refrig w ice maker, microwave, the works. Surprise amenities were clothes washer and dryer. Spacious master bedroom w jacuzzi & separate shower stall. Also confusing is that it is not a resort although that's part of its title:...
My husband and I were in town to celebrate our Anniversary and the Grand Illumination! The Westgate Resort had everything we were looking for. The service, the rooms and location of resort were perfect! We will return for sure!
Good location. Easy access to Colonial Williamsburg, restaurants and shopping. Outdoor swimming pool area was in a lovely setting. Indoor lobby area and community room areas: very clean and welcoming. Very friendly staff. Only negatives: Parking not the greatest and no breakfast offered.
Awesome! I love this place!
The accomodations were even more than we expected. Thanks for a great stay. We will keep you in mind for future trips.
Fine stay was shocked at the price to bring my dog to a "pet friendly" hotel. 170 non-refundable regardless of the condition of the room after. In my opinion that was a very high price for our one night stay. The hotel was nice with the exception of that.
This resort is wonderful. Everything about it was great. I had a great time. I will stay again. It was so relaxing.
We stayed for one night at the Westgate in Williamsburg, Va. The room was amazing. It was essentially a one bedroom apartment. It was equipped with everything we needed and much more. We would definitely stay again. Very nice place.
Bra läge för besök i Revolutionary city!
I love the hotel, everyone was wonderful.. I will come back again and again..
I booked this hotel for two nights for a weekend getaway with my husband, who had recently come home from deployment to Afghanistan. The hotel itself was very nice, historic in nature, and our one room villa (suite) was awesome for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed having the full kitchen area, large bathroom with spa tub, and huge bedroom. The TVs were a little small, and in the bedroom it was...
Two parents one teenager visiting older brother at WM parents weekend. Nice hotel not a Ritz but less than $100 a night. Not a single complaint.
Hotel was close to colonial williamsburg and a lot of restaurants on the street the hotel was on. The 1 bedroom villa was amazing!!! For a couples retreat it was perfect way to relax in the evenings and have some alone time. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would totally stay here again
Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and neat. Overall a nice place. The things I didnt care for was the location right on Richmond Rd. Lots of loud traffic. The Jacuzzi was not hot and the check out was 10 am. I would prefer a 11 am check out just for a little more time. But these thing were minor to the over all experience.
Relaxing, convenient, fun for kids.
We arrived late night due to the heavy traffic issue. The hotel gave us a room that was already occupied by someone else. But they found the issue before we moved in to that room and end up gave us a bigger villa instead. The room is very clean and the beds (a king size bed and a sofa bed) are very comfort. A minor issue is the provided shampoo has been expired. The location is near to...
We enjoyed our stay very much. Friendly staff, great amenities, and clean rooms.
Cheap, Sticky furniture Loud surroundings Smelly carpets Filthy bathroom- vomit on our shower curtain Unkept common areas Tried to cancel our reservation for the second night and hotel/expedia would not allow it. Hotel charges Expedia and Expedia charges the customer. Enough said.
Loved the hotel. The room was great and I loved the jacuzzi tub! Room didn't get serviced 1 day but I emailed the manager and he gave me a $50 credit for the inconvenience.
The hotel stay was pleasant and it's great that its a pet-friendly hotel!! One great thing is that I was able to sleep the entire night without waking up to noises. I have been traveling a lot lately and it would seem like the hotel walls are getting thinner or people are just getting louder! Even though the room was very close to a heavy traffic road, I couldn't hear a thing unless the door...
Old tv,not close to airport. Staff took forever to check me in. Tub dirty and looked like George Washington would bathe in it. Tried to be upscale but failed
We didn't expect the accommodations to be this good. Would book again and in other locations.
This turned out to be a timeshare even thought I booked through Expedia, so I was surprised. Upon check-in after a 6 hour car ride, I was told I needed to talk with a concierge. Turns out it was to sign up for the sales pitch. The offer was for free Busch Gardens tickets and complimentary wi-fi. Since we were a party of five, I couldn't resist the almost $300 savings on tickets. The 1.5 hr...
Pros :Quick check in and out. Friendly Staff Cons: Late check in at 4 pm, and early check out 10 am. The bathroom was not cleaned well. The hotel was very loud and not very well insulated as you could hear everything in the rooms. The main hall ways where very dirty.
It wasn't what I expected. Shower was not satisfactory. There were stains all over.
If in the future I am within 2 hours of this place I will stay again. The room was a luxury apartment. The staff called the room just to check on us. We almost changed our vacation plans to stay another night.
We really enjoyed our time here. The pool is very nice and the room was beautiful. The fire alarm kept flashing which was annoying in the middle of the night and the toilet had a leak but I assume a property like this will take care of those things quickly as everything else was well-maintained.
Was really nice. The first day we was bother for the timeshare orientation. We dont want spent time taking orientation. In overall was really good for family. The room is comfortable.
Very Nice ! Convienently located. Great Room. (Std 1 bedroom suite w/Hugh Bedroom w/Jetted Tub, King bed.) Very nice Full kitchen including dishwasher. Living rm was just little on small side but had sleep sofa w/50" tv. (not a knock on size but just for you to be aware.) Overall great facililty. My Wife and 12 yr. old daughter were Very comfortable. I was in town to work for 2 days and brought...
Excellent, I would and will return.
This hotel was the best hotel my family has ever been to! The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean, and overall we had a great experience staying here. My only gripe is that internet access was $9.99/day. Other than that, everything else was great. Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff, great location and excellent room confort.
definitely would stay here again. close to all attractions.
This is a beautiful hotel. The suite was fabulous...one of the best we have ever rented. The PROBLEM was noise. Noise from the next room. Noise from the room above. We had to call security twice--once at one a.m. This may have been a one time occurrence. We don't know. The only other irritation--when we checked in we were immediately given a sales pitch offering some free tickets if we took...
Hotel is good.It has a kitchen to.Overall it was a good experience.Only thing missing was wifi, giving that much money and not getting a free wifi was a negative for me,otherwise i had a pleasant stay.
Hotel is nice and clean.Staff are nice.Located near the heart of the place and you can find many restaurants near the place.
The suite rooms were clean. The king bed and surprisingly the couch rollout bed were both very comfortable. Space was a bit tight, the bathroom small. But suited our purposes.
We weren't prepared for the "timeshare speel". The room they thought would impress us was small, could not stand in front of the bathroom sink with the bathroom door open and could only climb out of one side of the bed, housekeeping only done every 3 days.I refused to walk on the carpet in my socks or barefeet. Location to historical area was very good.
For the price, I think you get what you pay for. It's a time share that you can also rent by the night. There isn't a continental breakfast; however, the 2-bedroom villa that we got was quite spacious. It included a washer and dryer, and a full kitchen, which we were able to use quite effectively.Sadly, the maid service wasn't up to our standards. One of the days our coffee making supplies...
We came to visit relatives temporarily living in Williamsburg. We left ready to return when we can having explored Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown and Monticello during beautiful weather and not-so-many-tourists time! We needed more than the 6 days we had! As a side note, we really enjoyed/appreciated the washer/dryer in our room as we are runners and were able to wash our running clothes! We...
The location was wonderful.\n\nI did not like being talked into timeshare stuff right as I checked in by a resort voucher. The staff were wonderful at the actual hotel, so this does not apply to them.\n\nThe hotel was fair in cleanliness. I feel that the beds were comfortable, but the rooms were on the small side. The staff was really helpful because the manager agreed to give us back our $20...
It was convenient and easily accessible and was very inexpensive.\n\nThe walls are thin and the couch is not very comfortable.\n\nOverall, the Westgate is a nice place to stay. The positives: inexpensive price tag (it was only a couple dollars more than Travelodge), nicely decorated, great location (walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg-about 1 mile away with sidewalks the whole way),...
Westgate had good resources which bettered other local hotels. Some noise experienced which was dealt with. Helpful with necessary long distance calls. Good and quick checkout.
Wife and I were on a promotional stay at this resort for five nights. The resort was not quite like a hotel, and actually was a mix of time share ownerships and short term stay accommodations. We...
My husband and I stayed here for two nights in April 2012. We paid $85 (+tax) per night for the one-bedroom suite. The room is amazing. We loved the fireplace, make-up table, rain-water shower head...
Rooms were good to nice. "Personal Concierge" is nothing more than a phrase for Sales Person who jerked around our schedule. Initially she "scheduled" a meeting with us in toal disregard for our...
It was different this time. The front desk did not program our key, so we could not enter the side of the resort. Once we walked around to the front he re-programmed our key for the wrong room. We walked in on another guest... not good. The bathroom was dirty. "I was shocked". I had stayed there before and had better experience. Like I said it was better in the past.
The staff was nice, but the ammenities are lacking. Charges for internet unless you are a timeshare owner, had coffee in the room with pot on the first morning but not the second, they didn't even remove the dirty cups. The bed was comfortable but the neighbors conversations could be heard through the walls.
The entire visit was great, staff, room, location all were terrific.
Everything was clean and very convenient. The staff was very helpful.
What a lovely surprise when we arrived at this hotel! It was a time share...and we were lucky enough to get a room for the weekend at an incredible price! The room was very, very large with a fully equipped kitchen. Nice big bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The staff was great. I hope to stay here again.
Check in was far to long and painful. The keys didn't work the first two times we tried them. THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL. It is a nice family friendly 3 star.
Hotel was ok, except there was hair in the jacuzzi so didn't even bother using that. Also there were numerous police cars outside, not sure if they were doing some kind of bust.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Location was great. Will definately stay again.
" Good Location, George III Corporate Managment"10 minute walk to William & Mary20 minute walk to Colonial Williamsburg2 blocks from grocery story; close to many restaurants. There are no food…
My stay at the hotel was wonderful. Great location.
I called on Friday my check in date to ask if I could check in a little early. [...] When we finally got to check in I was informed we needed to leave them an additional $50.00 security deposit even though our room was prepayed. then when we got to our room we encountered a book in the room telling us that we were responsible for a myriad of items by dollar amount should we lose or break any...
Westgate was beautiful and clean,Its a resort type atsmosphere,so there will be children running around. Its in a nice location to shop and eat.Mostly we went out to eat, shop and the movies.the only bad thing was the air went out in the room the last day we wer there and they could not fix untill the next day.
Great rooms with lots of space. Highly recommended for all families.
The Westgate resort is part of our ownership chain so we just stayed one night just to get the feel of it and it was pleasant. Their customer service was excellent and aside from the accommodation. **Customer Service can make or break any establishment** it's a key factor. Thanks Orbitz for helping us make this stay there happen.
The westgate has recently renovated and is a clean, beautiful, and comfortable place to stay. Staff is great. Suites are comfortable with working fireplaces, kitchen, bathroom with every bedroom. I really enjoyed staying here and would stay again as well as recommend. Only minor complaints: no restaurant (but many nearby), not enough guest parking, and king sized bed to large for the size...
From the time we arrived, the staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered all of our questions and seem genuinely concerned. Even though it was Christmas, there was some one available if we needed anything. The Location was great and though there was no place to eat on the property, there were many restaurants within walking distance. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
This resort was awesome for a family of four! We stayed in a 1BR Suite- the accommodations were deluxe- everything was brand new and sparkling clean- the jacuzzi tub was big enough for four, having a washer and dryer was wonderful, fridge was nice too.
