I currently live here. Last night there was 12 break ins and one car stolen. From what I've herd this is a recurring issue. And yet the company will not put up security cameras for their residents safety..... I can not wait till my contract is up. I would recommend that everyone look elsewhere for housing.
SO far I am very pleased with my apartment. Apart from the occasional spiders it is very quiet and the staff are very respectful. I came home one day and they did work in my apartment and cleaned my carpets I was very pleased and will recommend to friends and family
Excellent staff, great customer service, beautiful landscape, low prices, and convenient location. BUT Low quality maintenance response, cockroaches is a problem with the apartments. Two issues enough to highly not recommend this to anyone.
Excellent move in process! Friendly staff! Great price for the apartment compared to others I looked at. I hope to be a residence for a long time to come. I only wish there was more parking available... The parking lot appears to get crowded pretty quickly.

Wonderful place for commuters. Affordable rent for all that is included. Spacious studios. Beautiful landscaping/surroundings. Quiet and pleasent neighbors. Very friendly staff. Excellent maintenance crew, they are professional and keep everything in shape.
Maintenance repair quality is not too satisfying. They replaced parts to broken dryer vents with a dirty vent. Is that reasonable? Is it not the least an apartment can do to clean the apartment before tenants move in? I am noticing lots of hidden dirty spots around the apartment that should not be dirty. Staff has been extremely helpful and accomodating. I was going through some personal issues and my move in was so easy and simplified. I was every one of my move ins was this easy. Also my recent maintenance request was handled efficiently..
These apartment complex is located very convient close to interstate and just 10minutes from my work. The area is beautiful. This is my first apartment and I think it's lovely. The inside is great just wish we had gotten a home with upgraded appliances. The staff is super friendly. I would definetly recommend to friends
The apartment complex is very nice but the electricity bills in Virginia are expensive. The bedroom windows take up almost the entire wall, and quickly make the room cold with the thickest blinds I could find. We are in a two bedroom apartment use hardly any electricity, and with the heater running for the month it ended up costing $250... In other states, I've used more electricity with and...
no way to explain in writing what problems/concerns to office staff technical problems. only "what is reported" fix by maintenance personnel is very frustrating, especially when they have to go around other problems that are connected.
Great community, Staff is friendly and professional. It is a very quiet and peaceful spot unless the jets from Langley are flying over or there is a race at the speedway. Overall it is the best place I have lived in the Hampton Roads area so far.
Waypoint at Hampton in Hampton, Virginia, is an okay apartment complex. It is very pretty, but the apartments on the inside are old and are showing their age. They need three maintenance workers instead of the two they have. I would give the apartment three out of five stars if I could
This community is quiet, well-groomed and always has something new being done to keep it looking great and having amenities to offer. The office managers and maintenance people are all dependable and do a great job. Unfortunately, rent goes up after every lease term.
I like the apartment complex, the bathroom fixtures are quite outdated and need to be updated. The staff is quite friendly, the other tenants are friendly, and not very loud. The washer and dryers inside the apartment are great, and for the price, you can't beat them... I would recommend the extra few dollars per month to have them in the apartments.
The studio apartment I am staying at is surprisingly spacious, with a large living room/bedroom and walk-in closet. Both me and my dog, Oreo, are happy with how pet friendly the community is and look forward to walking around the area and frequenting the fenced in area located in the community.
I've been at waypoint Hampton for 3 months and the staff has been great. When I first moved in after running my first load of dishes I noticed the upper spray arm was broken. 2 days later I had a new unit. We had an issue with our oven bake element not working and the next day they were out to fix it. The staff is attentive, very professional and courteous. I am very happy here and rccomend...
Any issue I had with something in the apartment was taken care of very quickly. This is the third apartment complex I've lived in in Hampton Roads and I'm honestly not used to that quick of a response. The staff are nice. I have been here for a month and have had only one issue with the kitchen light and Lisa, got it taken care of the same day. Neighborhood is quiet and I love the ducks and squirrels The balconies are nice and spacious and so are the storage rooms.
Nice quiet community..besides the occasional Langley planes and raceway. Friendly professional staff. Conveniently located near several eateries and easy access to the interstate. Nice balconies to enjoy and the dumosters are dumped on a regular schedule.
Love, Love, Love the staff at Waypoint. My boy friend and I are very happy with our little apartment!!!! Could definitely go with out the sound of the jets every morning, but I do like the sound of my freedom!!!!! We hope to stay for a while!!!!! Maybe in a 2 bedroom
I have yet to have a negative experience with the staff here--they are always courteous, helpful, and willing to listen. The few problems I have had here (normal apartment maintenance for older buildings) were resolved quickly and with a good attitude. The grounds are lovely, there is plenty of parking, the area is safe, and the amenities of the fitness room and pool, as well as the dog park...
I like the complex the price a is a little steep for what they have to offer but we're managing.I would recommend someone here I like the staff they help you the best way possible very family orrinated.some of the top notch maintence workers.The grounds are kept very nice.
This community is the best. Great location, great staff! It has 3 ponds with cool looking ducks, would recommend this place to all of my friends. Close to Langley, NASA and my favorite bbq place. Apartments are spacious, balconies are nice.
Quiet, well maintained apartment community with charming park like atmosphere. Layout of apartment is ideal overlooking lake, and close enough to local entertainment and stores to not be completely isolated, yet still far enough away to be nice and quiet.
I have lived in the community nearing two years now and in all probability, will renew for a third at least. So far, it's been great. It is affordable and in a very good location. Closer to Yorktown than Hampton and a short drive to either city. Very quiet community and the office staff is awesome.
Very nice community & excellent staff & maintenance. Quiet where I am & am hoping it stays that way because the current residents are respectful of others. I will remain here as long as the atmosphere stays as pleasant as it is. High rating!!!
Amazing office staff. Maintenance is unsatisfactory, rude, incompetent, etc. I'm very friendly to all staff members here... Waving as I drive by, baked cookies for team... No respect or dependable services offered by maintenance team. I love my apartment and tell my husband I never want to leave. The office ladies are thorough and kind. But maintenance needs some new management.
Nice location. Quiet neighborhood. Not too sure how I feel about the ducks anymore. It is very convenient to local shopping and surrounding cities. It can be very beautiful when the fountains are all on and working and when the landscape is kept up.
Not horrible but have had some issues. Enjoying the grounds and scenery the best. Apartment interiors could be updated after each Tennant. Walls are thin and neighbors like to yell and scream. Air has a hard time getting to the whole apartment but all in all the place is nice. Has its good points.
nice and quiet. no loud noise people get along very well. love the office staff. this has been one of the better communities in hampton. neighbors are really friendly and polite and they keep you informed of community events about the complex
Apartments are kept in good condition. All appliances and amenities work well. Only complaint I have is that being somewhat close to a busy road, the sound of traffic can be difficult to get used to. I feel that thicker windows would solve the problem.
The maintenance is horrible. We have had a clogged sink for 4 days and when we had 5 inches of water running on the floor after the ENTIRE sink filled. Emergency maintenance said they'd get to it tomorrow. Very disappointed and pissed off.
when I first moved in things seemed to be great but not long after that all the problems arrived. it's all military here! there is hardly any parking if you have a normal civilian job so don't expect to park close to your building. they did make 2 or even 3 handi-capped spots normal spots. but seriously 2 or 3 didn't make a dent in the parking situation. we are supposed to have a tow truck that...
The people are very nice and office staff takes care of any problem u have and make sure every thing is clean and works and gives. U a nice reminder when rent is due knowing people be busy working love the place it got a lot of stuff even nice ducks and a pool
The apartment could use renovatons. Overall I like the community and great amount space for myself and daughter. Maintenance is not the best. The staff there is great, lisa has been a great help in my trasition to this new apartment. I enjoy my place.
The studio apartment is great for a single person to live. The closets are big and the extra storage on the balcony is useful. The kitchen is small and there is not a lot of counter space. Overall a pleasant experience. I like the little lakes and the resident ducks. I also like the semi-seclusion the trees around make the place feel. Overall, it feels like a safe place to live. Staff is very pleasant and helpful and the office has a computer to use if you need to look something up (Especially good for new residents just moving in).
Living here overall is great. The landscaping is kept up nicely and the property manager is wonderful. Being so close to Langley is nice; because of that I feel the community is made up mostly of military personnel, leaving the community quiet and safe. The square footage you get for the money is very reasonable.
The apartment complex is ok but for the amount of rent paid the grounds should be kept cleaner and maintenance issues should be handled the first time they are reported. They do allow large pets which is rare in the apartment world. Office staff is hit or miss in getting things accomplished for residents.
I looked a several places to rent but kept being drawn back to waypoint due to the friendly staff and the community. I absolutely love it here and recommend this place to anyone who mentions moving or looking for an apartment! Great place 2 be!
I have been living here for a year and a half and really enjoy the community I live in. It is quiet and I like living so close to my job. I am extremely satisfied with my apartment and the community that I live in. The maintenance is really responsive and the staff is very helpful.
Not pleasant. The mail key situation is ridiculous. I had to pay $20 for a key, go to the post office and wait 10 days for it. I have issues that I have reported several times that has not been repaired and others that have not been addressed of yet.
I liked the fact that the community is secluded, the trees provide good privacy. It is very very affordable for the amount of space in the apartment. Other tenants are not noisy, office staff is extremely helpful throughout the entire move in process. Maintence is fast and very friendly.
Overall the apartment is quiet and I have no complaints. The staff is very helpful and quick on resolving any maintenance so far. So far everything is going well and enjoying the apartment and location. It was a good deal to come and move here.
So far it is pretty decent and love the apartment. Loud neighbors below but it alright. Really don't have much to say but i would recommend waypoint to anyone who is looking for their first apartment to live in. Do i really need to put 200 characters.
From the time I completed my move-in until present, I have experienced a very pleasant community. The studio apartment I live in has a nice floor plan and the grounds are clean. For an older apartment complex, it still maintains a nice appeal.
The staff is understanding and helpful. Maintenance is extremely slow to get anything done (1+ months at points). Grounds are maintained but nothing spectacular. Very pet friendly and quiet neighbors and depending on apartment location low noise pollution .
The office staff are nice & helpful. Area is quiet. Apartment itself is ... lived in. Corners were cut when it was turned over to me & that's ok. It's an apt, it's been used. wear & tear is harder to hide after a while. there's that plus rent goes up
I rented this apartment while in Colorado. So, I was not present to check the location of this apartment. It would have been appropriate in the description provided to state that this unit is close to road with traffic noise. This noise is very loud and annoying.
