At Water Country USA, nearly 45 acres of pools, children's play areas, lazy rivers, and water rides have a colorful 1950s and surf theme. Blast down Rock 'n' Roll Island's nearly 600 feet of body slides, ride the 700-foot lazy river, or soak in the 9,000-square-foot pool. Or you can enjoy relaxing by Virginia's largest wave pool in a lounge chair or a private cabana. There are also live...

Virginia's largest water-oriented amusement park features exciting water slides, rides, and entertainment set to a 1950s and 1960s surf theme. The largest ride -- Big Daddy Falls -- takes the entire family on a colossal river-rafting adventure. Or you can twist and turn on giant inner tubes through flumes, tunnels, water "explosions," and down a waterfall to "splashdown." And there's much more,...

Great water park for whole family

Average Rating

Pack up the family, pack up the lunch, and head to this great water park. Not overly crowded compared to some others we've been to. Wide variety of rides for different age ranges.
Park is laid out nicely with decent amount of shade (can get pretty hot in summer here). Staff is friendly and helpful for those needing any assistance....

We took our kids, all four, to celebrate one of there birthdays. We ended up buying a switch ticket, to go to both parks. It was so hot, the water was refreshing.

My family enjoys this Water Park tremendously, from Ages ranging from 65-2!
All around there are refreshing pools, water slides, and exciting water flumes and rides! My favorite is the lazy river-Hubba Hubba highway, after I've worked out in the Wave Pool!

This park was so much fun,the best part were the short lines.don't know if it was because we visited in late summer but we enjoyed it.Something for everyone of all ages!

We come to Water Country USA every Summer when vacationing in Williamsburg Va. They offer many types of water rides but I have to admit, my favorite is the Hubbard Hubbard Highway. This is a water propelled high speed river that is always enjoyable and very relaxing. All their water rides are a great deal of fun, but be prorated...

Family fun

Average Rating

We have season passes, and since our kids have hit age 5, we have been frequenting Water Country every summer. As with any amusement park, it's overpriced...the food is mediocre...and when it's crowed, it's almost unbearable. The lines are almost always long, but we've basically come to expect that as part of the WC experience. If all else fails, there...

Fantastic water park

Arrive a few minutes before opening to get in first and hit the rides that get long lines first. Hit Colossal Curl at the entrance then go straight to Aquazoid which can be the longest line in the park later in the day. Do Meltdown, then Vanish Point if you dare, then head back to Big Daddy Falls,Nitro Racer, Jet...

it is a great sized park, lots to do, but we went 4 times over 3 years and 3 of those visits the park had to close multiple rides due to lightening..on clean sunny days...maybe just our luck?? lol

Great family place

Average Rating

My family visited Water Country several weekends in August. We found the park to be clean and fun. The biggest con is the time spent waiting in lines. We purchased the quick lane passes and found them to be quick, however for money it was disappointing that the good rides were limited to a one time use of the quick...

Fun for All

My favorite place to visit on a hot summer day. We spend our weekends enjoying the water slides, wave pool and kiddie pools. My kids love it! The lifeguards are attentive and the staff is friendly. Everything is clean. I was sad to see the high diving show and the alligators/parrots missing in 2015, but hoping to see them return.

Challenging with kids of different ages

We have the multi park passes but get pinged for parking each time. Park can get very busy, with long lines, food prices are high (more than the regular park it seems). Can be difficult to ride the different rides when you have a youngster and teenager...wave pool was a favorite

Great Water Park

You have to go with your kids! This place was so much fun with our 3 year old, not so much with our baby! He had a blast in the kiddie area and I enjoyed the dive show and water slides. Truly Recommend!

This is by far the best water park near DC.. Just go in the morning to avoid long lines.. they also have great promo where you pay one time and you can visit all summer long! I just wish they have more selection of food though..

Best waterpark in the US

Go to HubbaHubba Highway. You don't need kids to go hete. We love going during week-not as crowded as weekend. Water tube slides were best. The scariest is the slide where the floor drops out.

Great Complement to Busch Gardens

Average Rating

Just a few miles from Busch Gardnes this park is an excellant counterpoint. Great rides spread out just enough over rolling acres that are meticulously maintained. Could do with a few more food places, but the food quality is quite good. Hope for further expansion that could take the pressure off of lines on busy days.

It's one of the better water parks I've been to. The lines can be long, but what amusement/water park doesn't have long lines. Festive and relating, imaginative slides, rides and waterfalls

Nice rides, but way to long of wait time

Average Rating

Rides are a lot of fun, but they can never accomodate the amount of people that visit this place. They have lots of room between rides, so they could easily expland. I hope that they do, because the wait time is awful. Thankfully there is shade in most of the lines. Make sure you wear water shoes or your feet...

I love this park. We have came here every year for 15 years. Its a clean park. It gets a little crowded at times. Limes for slides can get long during the day but if you wait till the crowd leaves you can usually run up and down every slide a few times the last few hours they are open....

Love Water Country USA - the price is not bad, especially if you get there as soon as it opens and the lines are not ridiculous like you will find at Busch Gardens! The Quick Passes are also much more reasonable in price than at Busch Gardens. Definitely recommend as a family trip!

We had fun here my son won 2 huge stuff dogs playing the basket ball game. The kids really enjoyed it, the lines were short. Huge Water Park located in beautiful Williamsburg, VA. Kids had a blast and so did I!There are so many water rides you'll want to go early to enjoy them all -- avoid summer weekends (too busy). Here's a tip, Water Country. If you're going to do cashless wristbands, only do them for people over 21 or tie something to it that says the person is over 21. It's kind of pointless to have the wristband so I don't have to carry my wallet around the park and then card me when I go to buy a drink.
