This was my favorite eatery in town, and became a ritual stop after church on Sunday. Mike Hu, the proprietor, got out and it has been replaced by Peter Chang. Mike, I hope you come back and open a new restaurant... we will be regulars!
The food on the buffet area was not kept warm. There was a good variety of items to select from. None of it was worth going back for a second helping though.
Normally I am not one for buffets, but I was with a group of friends (all W&M students, so we got 10% for dinner). Had lots of normal chinese dishes that were good, chicken was actually white meat which was nice. 6-7 sushi roll and sashimi to choose from, all pretty good for a buffet. I guess they have upgrades...
Sushi is good here but none of the other food on this buffet really delivers. It is moderately priced and there are allot of choices but Williamsburg has plenty of more interesting places. Atmosphere at this restaurant needs desparate help.
Will def. Not go back. Food had no flavor. The best thing there was the pre- packaged ice cream cups.... Atmosphere was seriously lacking. Waitresses were o.k..not great/ not bad.
We were traveling with other family and kids so bargain dining is always at our look out but their foods were dried up for being out for too long, we were there at 645p on Monday night and host/cashier tried take extra $20 from our change. We will never go back there and will not recommend it.
Wasabi offers a large buffet which includes most standard Oriental dishes plus a nice sushi area.

This restaurant has got a great selection of food. If you like sushi, this is the place to try. Prices are excellent and food is fresh and you don't have to wait long when a particular food is empty, they are right there to fill it up.

This oriental buffet is second to none in freshness and food quality. The sushi selection is more 'center' than rice. The meats are delicious, as are the vegetables, salads, and desserts.

I had been going there regularly until Mother's day when they more than doubled the price and wouldn't allow coupons. The only notice we had was a small sign on a door that usually had advertisements we soon learned to ignore. What a shameful way to get money. You have lost several customers Mike.
I agree with Ken. I USE to eat at Peking but Wasabi's got them beat HANDS DOWN!! I stop by and see Mike and his crew at least once a week and I've Never been disappointed. Thanks Mike.

Mike has done it again, 1st he made the Peking a success & now he's doing it again. A buffet without all the tourist trappings. It has a contemporary feel & still all the wonderful options of the Peking with a price that fits the local's wallet.
