In Short
Since 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of...
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! From the time we walked in it was disgusting! I said let's leave and go somewhere else but my father in law insisted since we had already sat down and...
On our way home from the motorsickle foray and the kid has been hankering to try one of these damn waffle houses so here we are. Place is clean and our waitress from Maryland is wicked nice. She...
I came here with friends for a late night breakfast. The customer service was nice - our waitress was super nice and I loved her accent. However, I would recommend that the chefs keep their...
This review is for the Waffle House on route 17 in Fredericksburg, VA. We stop at a Waffle House about once a year when traveling north/south. A Waffle House is what it is, but this Waffle House is a complete disaster. After a long trip we decide to eat here because it was across the street from our hotel. The...
After a series of unfortunate events at Waffle Houses in other states I had sworn them off. Well, at the urging of a co-worker who wanted to eat we stopped and ordered something that would allow...
This is a Waffle House. As such, it falls into a very specific category: Waffle Houses. Since I have the same food at every Waffle House I visit, it's quite easy to compare them. Here is my...
After 12 hours of driving we didn't want to drive again for dinner, and Waffle House was the only place within walking distance of our hotel. Staff were very friendly, but our orders came incomplete - chili without any of the "extras" we had requested, for instance. Not bad food, just nothing special about it. On the other hand, not...
I went into the Waffle House sat at the counter and this young man behind the counter was talking to this girl and could not be bothered acknowledging I was there finally we decided to wait on me after finishing the story of his night out to the girl at the counter afterwards he took my order and a group...
We stopped here on the way to North Carolina. It is a typical Waffle House with decent food for a reasonable price. Waitress was polite and food order was fast. Just don't use the men's bathroom it is fairly clean. Overall I would stop here again.
We walked in at about 8:00am on Labor Day weekend and it was packed. But the servers and coins were keeping up very nicely. There were no attitudes from any of them either. The food was hot and good . I can't complain about it at all. Definitely a good stop off on 95.
We come here once or twice a month for a weekend breakfast. Usual WH food. The staff is friendly and the restaurant could use a deep clean. This is after all a Waffle House.
We came on a BUSY Sunday morning. The staff efficiently got everyone seated & served. Tasty good. Nice staff. This was my first time at a Waffle House. Loved it.
Went to the waffle house and ordered breakfast ( love waffle house grits ) Waitress told me that grits were soupy and she had to return the last two orders. You would think that maybe you might throw them out and make a new batch but I guess you don't do that until you have had enough grits returned that...
I have been to many Waffle Houses all over the place, and this one had the nicest waitresses ever. Our breakfast orders were perfect, and the conversation with the staff was very warm and friendly. This is a Waffle House to be kept in the rotation for a long time.
When I arrived there was someone at the door whom did not look like they belonged. Pan handler or something.
The staff seemed not to be working as a team. This is unusual for Waffle House. Management need to assist here.
Food was what I expected and very good.
Also the parking lot is confusing. There is an out arrow...
GRUMPY Employees the fight in front of you. Also, no oatmeal, what is with that. This is breakfast place with oatmeal on the menu
Nice big hot breakfast of eggs, grits, toast and waffle, with coffee to top it off. Great friendly service, all to get your day going well!
great employees! they were quick in preparing our food. very polite and considerate. the place was clean and were willing enough to find seats for our family of 12.
Ordered eggs over easy. Got one easy, one medium, one well, all burned on the edge.
Saw the cook flip food with the tool used to clean a grill and use fingers to flip food instead of spatula.
As a chef you never use the cleaning tools to cook with.
My son and I are new to the area and my sister is in college in the VA. I picked her up for the weekend and let my son choose where we would have for Sunday dinner and he chose Waffle House.
First, let me just say that there is nothing special about the food.
My sister's sandwich came without...
In ShortSince 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of Southern-accented home-style grub. Waffles (pecan or regular) are the restaurant's most popular dish. Other breakfast favorites include porterhouse T-bone steak and eggs, country ham, and signature hash browns cooked seven ways, from smothered with onions to topped with chili or cheese. Another bargain is the bowl of chili, which comes topped with onions, ham and cheese.
A kids' menu features smaller portions of menu staples like burgers, grilled cheese, and an egg with toast and jelly. For diet-conscious eaters, the menu also offers a "Light Corner" with items like grilled chicken salad.
Formerly a cash-only chain, many Waffle House locations now take credit cards. If you're short of cash, be sure to check before you dine.
