It had been at least 10 years since we ate at a Waffle House so last week we stopped by the newest one in the Chester, VA area for breakfast. We lucked up and were able to get a table when we walked in but soon after there was a line waiting to be seated at a table/booth, not sure...

Granted the power had been out until an hour before I arrived, but there was hot coffee in the pot and it was not offered. I waited 15 mins before the waitresses noticed me at the table (only 5 tables were occupied)...they were all standing around like they were clueless. They should at least offer coffee or water or something....

No matter which one you go to, you know it will be the same. It can be counted upon to taste good and be quick. Never disappoints, except when it is packed.

Great Munchie Food

It is what it is, and not to be expected of anything else. Food is good, made to order, unless you order chili or soup - and honestly 2-3 days in the pot is better (ask how long it's been cooking). Great place, food is good - not for food snobs, like me, unless you appreciate good breakfast food !

Rick saved the day for us, when a competitor did not fulfill their commitments Patterson's went out of their way to help us out. Rick put up our Mother's head stone with only hours notice so my sister and I could see it before we had to leave Ottumwa. Me headed to Alabama and her back to Washington state. Again I can't thank them enough, they are the type of people I like doing business with. ...
