I have been going to see Gregory at Visions for over 8 years, and he really is the best stylist in town. As you all know, it?s difficult to find someone you can trust. But whether it?s a cut or highlights, Gregory?s professionalism and talent are truly unique.
I have recommended Gregory to over a dozen friends, and each one has thanked me for the referral. There?s no one else I would trust more!

I choose Visions after reading all of the positive reviews here on this site and I have to say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I made an appointment for a haircut but didn't request anyone in particular, I just wanted the first stylist who was available and so they assigned me Stephanie. I showed her a photo of the haircut I wanted and it was the first time in my life where I actually received a haircut that looked EXACTLY like the photo I brought in! She took her time to make sure she got the haircut right and also took her time in styling and flat ironing my unruly hair....

I chose this place because of the reviews. However, I am a little dissappointed I believed the reviews. This place isnt' as great as what people hype it to be. The service was good, but the haircut was okay. I went there once, and that was about it. Back of my head was uneven, which I didn't notice, until I got home. Little stuff like that, paying attention to detail is important when you go to a salon. I haven't had this before...and now I am sure i won't. I haven't been there since.

Visions is the place to go for a complete hair cutting experience. Gregory is the most talented stylist I have ever gone to. He has the knowledge and experience to make you look wonderful. The staff and other stylists are always friendly and a pleasure to know. I would encourage anyone who wants the total experience to check out Gregory and Visions. You won't be sorry you did.

Gregory has been cutting my hair since he became an apprintice about 12 years ago. Every cut has been top notch and he has always taken excellent care of me. I am always complimented on my hair style and I never hesitate to recommend Visions and Gregory.

Before Gregory started styling my hair, I used to think the $12.00 ""Super Cuts"" was adequate for me, after all, I am a guy with short hair and how can going to a stylist make a difference? This was my first haircut in Richmond and I absolutely loved it. I was very nervous going in because I was doing something very different and I've never been able to find a good hair stylist. So I went to Aleen today for a shorter cut and highlight. I walked in with a pic from a magazine and some thoughts on what I think I might want, and she instantly had a vision of what I needed and soothed my worries. Not that long ago I went to Aleen for a change and while I was there decided to cut over 9 inches off and go for a short sleek bob. Aleen was fantastic. She took so much time with me and gave me the greatest style. Aleen gave me a great cut that I could manage on my own. Everyone loves it and so do I. I got a haircut from a master cutter at Visions. First they didn't want to do my hair the way I wanted and I insisted. Then they did a poor job giving me bangs. I won't go there again.
I went to Lauren and I thought she was too chatty and in a hurry. My cut was okay, but not as good as some of the other stylists in Visions, but my fav stylist left so I didn't have much choice in replacing her. I also had to wait while she finished her conversation for her to begin the process.

Ever since Lauren has been styling my hair - about 3 years now - I have received compliments everywhere I go - from family, friends and co-workers - I've even been stopped by strangers in the grocery store asking where I have my hair done! A friend of mine recommmended Gregory to me many years ago. She always had the best haircuts so I decided I would give him a try. Boy am I'm glad I did. I have gotten the best haircuts and color from him for many years now. Gregory always takes his time and listens to what you want. It took me over a year to find VISIONS SALON, so I wanted to help those out there that are currently looking for a place that has it all. A great atmosphere with a wonderful and knowledgable staff!! I have been going to Gregory at Visions for years. He fixed my color (and it was a mess) several years ago and gave me the best hair style I have ever received. I have sent all of my friends and family to him, and they are all thrilled with their hair. The staff are great. The shop is beautiful. I highly recomend you treat yourself to the best hair experience in Richmond.
I have had a stylist for the past 6 years or so and have never had anyone else color or cut my mane until Aleen. My stylist is on maternity leave and I wanted to take the opportunity to see what else was out there. Aleen is honest and has a great eye for individual style. I started going to Doug at Visions in1990 while in college and always got fantastic haircuts. I came back to him periodically even after leaving Richmond, and even now, living in Texas, I'm thinking of booking an appointment when I'm in D.C. in June. Dallas stylists (at least the ones I can afford) don't stand up to Doug. I miss you!
