I have stayed at this Travelodge many times over the years and NEVER had any issues with the room or with the Manager. In fact, everytime I stay here I always get a hug.

The rooms were not clean. We had to ask for clean sheets because they were not clean. The room makes you feel yucky. It's old and not updated at all. The tv was old and the channels were fuzzy. Worst of all we couldn't even get in the pool. The pool was green. When I told the front desk they told me that they just cleaned it. The pictures that are up here are false. Since most of the hotels I was looking at were in the same price range, I chose this hotel based on the location and amenities. It is a GREAT location. However, there was no wi-fi in my room at all. We stayed here for a trip down to Bush Gardens where all we needed was a hotel room to come and sleep at for two days. Overall it is your run of the mill hotel. Nothing special but nothing horrible either. The walls had some marks on them…

I'm not sure how this hotel rates as high in the rankings as it does. Could be on it's past or maybe just the price. Anything under $40. in Williamsburg is certainly a bargain. We were given what looked like the smallest room in the place on the second floor. It was so small that an extra table and chairs...

rooom was small and old, but very clean and staff was very nice. I did not expect much more for the price we got for the room. Breakfast was not fancy, but there was cereal, juice and coffee, so it was fine.

Train passed by each morning at different times. Walls were thin and we heard everyone coming and going as their doors shut. The motel was clean but not updated. We found a former guest's houseslippers next to our bed. The mattresses were firm - husband liked but I didn't. Had microwave, refrigerator, and room safe which was convenient. Just down from all of the restaurants on Richmond Rd. ...

Good Stay for the Price

Very friendly staff and in a good location. The main issue was that this hotel is near a train line going parallel to Richmond road causing some issues with noise. Overall, this was a great stay for the price. I would definitely return.

We have never been to Virginia before, and my husband booked the room through the Williamsburg chamber of commerce. It was worth the money, but the rooms were so dirty. We actually went out, and bought cleaning supplies. The pool was a joke. Good thing we only went in it once on the last night before we left. The breakfast...

Very helpful and accomdating staff. We required to stay another night and there was no problem and the rates remained the same, which were very low and the motel was in the main section of Williamsburgh.

Unhappy Campers

The experience was one of the worst we have had as a family who travels internationally at least once a year and more than that domestically. When we were packing to check out, the staff came to our room telling us that we will be charged extra for staying over the 11 am check out. We told them that we thought that the check out was at noon. We apologized and proceeded to quickly get...

Traveled to Williamsburg to shop at the outlet mall. Great location - right down the street from outlets, lots of good restaurants on the same street. The hotel was a good place to stay for the price. We expected good, and good is what we got - nothing fancy, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Really noisy kids in the room next door, but we didn't inform management,...

The hotel didn't look like it did in the picture, scary, but the room was clean and surprisingly the place was quiet considering its busy location. The bathroom was very dated but was clean. The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was hard to find and there wasn't much to choose from. The hotel is located near many restaurants and shops and not far from Interstate 64 and the...

We got this motel from expedia, so averaged at 57 a night (REALLY good price) and the co-owner let us add an extra night for a reduced rate because we are having so much fun!! (we are still here)
Yeah, it's not the swankiest place, our first room was so small the table had to sit in front of the...

The room was clean, no smell which was what I was looking for along with no smoking and no pets. The only thing it said on the website that their was a fitness center "NONE". Breakfast was good something to hold you untill lunch which was good for my husband and I. Other than that our stay was very relaxing.

We arrived at the hotel a lot earlier than the regular check-in time and they were kind of enough to find us an available room. The room was very basic, but for the price it was all we needed. The breakfast was adequate with waffles, cereal, toast, and sweet rolls. There was an employee in the breakfast room giving advice about the area the entire time, which was very helpful. If you are...

The Good: The hotel is in a very good location with many restaurants on the same street and an ice cream shop next door. It is conveniently located near Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was clean. The Bad: Breakfast bar didn't have any fruit, but did have a waffle maker and fresh juice. It is near train tracks. Rooms were clean,...

A really nice place to stay. The staff are friendly and have a good knowledge of the area and attractions, plus will be happy to find any info they do not already know for you. Clean rooms with fridge, microwave, T.V, safe and dining/work table. Not the best location without a car but you can catch the blue line bus...

We stayed at this hotel on Bypass Rd. for 3 nights. The rate was great....... $40 plus tax with AAA. Upon checkout I asked for a survey, as there was not one in my room. They had to look all over the office (no luck) and then went in to about 3 guest rooms to find one. I filled it...
