Sleepy Bear was introduced as the company's mascot in 1954, and has been welcoming people to adventure ever since. Today, with locations close to beach adventures, downtown adventures and everything in between, Travelodge still accommodates adventure-seekers of all kinds.

A cheap cab ride away from the coliseum and was in a quieter spot than red roof which was nice for sleeping. Right by an Air Force base with a pretty view!\n\nThe remote, microwave, and clock didn't work, front desk service was painfully slow

The motel is older and is showing it's age. It is in a very sketchy part of town. I was wondered about my car being broken into. The best thing is there is a bar/restaurant that locals hang out that is nice.\n\nThe location and the crowd that was lingering around. My buddy Glock was with me so I felt safe, otherwise I would not have stayed.\n\nI got stuck with this hotel due to a last minute...

The free internet was very fast, so my husband was able to continue to work while we were out of town. We were always able to park right outside our room. The staff were kind and quickly accommodated all of our needs.\n\nThe cereal included in the free breakfast was on the verge of stale. My husband and I noticed it, but our kids did not.\n\nThe price was exactly what we were looking for, the...

I am not a picky person; however I do have standards and this is below anyone's standers. Nothing was up-to-date as advertise the furniture, television, it looks like it's a family run business which means you're not going to get much. I asked for a non-smoking room but the room reeks with smoke I informed the owner he said it's probably from the air-conditioner.(Continental Breakfast Free...

Travelodge was a very pleasurable experience, my girlfriend and I were very impressed with the condition of the rooms. While on the outside the building appears to be run down and mildly unkept, however; looks can be deceiving. The rooms were clean, and well kept and each area of the room was well kept. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we plan on returning

Lobby was the first give away of what was to come. The staff was friendly but hard to trust when you encountered the way they maintain the facility. Room was dank, or damp smelling of mildew, had read poor reviews before setting out on my trip but thought they might just be people who had a very terrible time venting, but the only venting that is needed is the air in the room. We spent one night at the hotel and it met our needs. I felt safe but my family in the area felt it was not a safe area. I worked in L.A. so I may be less critical of an area. Overall, it was good. The clerks were helpful and willing to help with any problems (which we had none).

This place is awful the smell, and the bullet proof glass in the (so called lobby) is your first sign of danger. The room's are dirty and wouldn't dare sleep in those beds. I booked this hotel because I was performing with a band in the area and needed inexpensive lodging. I wish I had checked out why it received such a low rating before booking. I felt bad that our experience was so awful. The...

Would not stay here again unless it was ABSOLUTELY my last resort. Room smelled musty even after I got it cooled down. Clothes hanger rack was coming off the wall to the point I couldn't put anything on it. Linens and towels were very shabby. Room looked relatively clean, but I had no confidence in the actual cleanliness. Slept on my own blankets; never took off my shoes. Manager was pleasant...

The accomodations were ok for the price. It was a safe place to sleep and shower. When we got there, they had been repaving/painting the parking lot, so it was inconvenient to have to park on the opposite side of the building all week. Manager was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. We were dissatisfied with the lobby and laundry areas. Appeared not to be too clean.

I stayed in this hotel for the July 4 weekend, this hotel is kind of cheap one in VA area, but to be true it is not near VA, it takes atleast 1 to 1.30 hours drive to beach. 1. We followed the navigation and stood before AFB and then found it, we had to circle back for 30 minutes to...

Filthy room. 2 trips to the lobby (which was locked) to get a TV remote that workied. Woke up with bug bites. Stairs rickety and not safe. Lots of what appeared to be homeless people hanging around. Door was "repaired" in several places where the room had clearly been broken into before. Very foul smelling.

Because of other reviews I was very apprehensive about booking this hotel. I did so because of the location and once we arrived we were all extremely happy with the service, hotel and location. This was a moderately priced motel that was completely satisfactory. The room was clean, the bed new and comfortable, the manager helpful and efficient. It is adjacent to the Langley AFB King Road gate. From the balcony that services the second floor rooms, I saw a spectacular sunset over the river.

The outside was okay, but it was downhill once you went inside. The king suite was large, but the furniture was so old and creaky. The bed was very uncomfortable and made noise every time you moved. The location is the only thing that I would recommend about the Hampton Travelodge. The room was large but we had to ask for kleenex and a hair dryer. The door would not close enough to lock. The room had some drywall repairs and had not been painted. Many (1/2) of the lights did not work. Someone banged on our door at 3am.
