My husband and I really enjoyed our time at Townhouse restaurant. The table we sat at was right next to the cozy fireplace and the food and service was wonderful. We can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit so we can enjoy the outdoor seating. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. Will definitely come back again. :)
Service was below par. Salmon was a little raw and steak did not have much flavor.
Went there on a Friday night, a little loud in the dining room since there were a few big groups, and a wedding party (I think they were having their rehearsal dinner for a wedding the next day). The waiter Jeremy/Jeremiah was so nice and offered to give us a private table in the patio outside for a little quiet time after dinner to enjoy our wine since the bar was full with the wedding party....

Chanukah and Christmas Breakfast for my family, this was the perfect location. We are "locals" and find it difficult to dine where tourists flock to, often it gets too loud for me but was so glad we did dine here. Service was the best, not crowded and noise level was tolerable.

I think it is usually quieter than the night we were there; we were seated in a room with one other large party who were obviously celebrating. The waitress didn't get one of the orders right, then ended up bringing soup twice for this same guest. But overall it is a beautiful setting with great food and I would definitely recommend it.
This is the 4th annual Christmas brunch we have celebrated here, as well as numerous anniversaries. It has been consistently outstanding! Great food, wonderful staff, superb ambiance. A memorable meal at a memorable place.
My college girlfriends and I have been meeting here for brunch for years. It's the perfect half-way point for all of us traveling from Sacramento, East-Bay, and Modesto. Food is excellent, ambiance is cozy & quaint, and service is always top-notch. We LOVE to sit on the patio and catch up for hours. And we typically enjoy several beverages from their extensive wine list.

We went to restaurant the next am, but after they were serving breakfast. They were kind enough to still seat us and offer us an item that didn't need to be cooked! It was the salmon with bagel which is what I order every time I am there anyway! :)
The chef was aloff and unresponsive to coments regarding the food. The meal was minamalist and expensive for the lunch portions. Don't mind paying top dollar when the meal is top dollar. Unfortunately this was not the case here. However the restaurat did have a nice ambiance.

This is a lovely oasis in the middle of Lodi. A bit expensive for Sunday brunch, but well worth the drive from Sacramento.
We had lunch for my mother's 85th birthday. They were serving brunch because it was a holiday. We both had the smoked salmon scramble, which was extremely delicious. We were too full for dessert, but the waiter brought my mom some truffles with a candle for her to blow out. It was the perfect special occasion lunch.

The hotel room was big and beautiful, and very nicely appointed. Having our own private lighted terrace was really an amazing touch! I was really happy with my stay at Wine & Roses. It's in the perfect location- lots of wineries close by! The restaurant was great too. We had drinks at the bar and listened to the live entertainment before heading to a private room for dinner. The hotel grounds are well maintained. Really no complaints.

This is the go to place for me and my friends...the lovely gardens, the rooms, the spa, the restaurant/piano bar lounge is a slice of heaven on earth. It is our happy place for sure. After many years of visiting, I can't help but notice the staffing remains constant, another sign of good management and it shows.

Love W&R. My daughter was married here. It lead me back to a girls trip to appreciate the spa and out of the way location. 2 girl trips later, we will return next year in the off season for a repeat. Prices seem to be a little high for the area, but well below Bay Area equivalents. Overall, great experience.

An interesting collection of buildings with some good sized rooms. The room was dark; but had a good sized balcony that overlooked gardens. The room is very comfortable. Get a second floor room with a balcony. It was relaxing to sit outside with a cup of coffee and see the beautiful courtyard and fountain. The staff is amazing. W&R is an extremely comfortable and luxurious hotel that makes me feel good when I am there. This was my second stay. Beautifully kept gardens, great pool, bar and restaurant. A bit pricey but well worth the occasional indulgence.
