Had a great lunch on the patio here, the food was delicious and the servers were very friendly. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Thank you for the wonderful snacks at last night's Open Door Coffeehouse in downtown Hillsborough. The spinach dip and salsa were VERY well received! We love community-coffeehouse connections.

I have a history question. I lived in Hillsborough at Whitney Mobil home park in 1975-1977 I used to go to a place nam...ed The Depot Street tavern. Is Tooky's the same place and if so when the the Depot Street tavern change hands or close? I remember they always had lots of beer and popcorn flowing.See More

Service = terrible. We went this evening and 2 different waitresses said the hostess would be right with us. The hostess came to be right in front of us, joked about getting herself organized, and walked away without reassuring that she'd sit us when she came back or anything. She then came back in and walked right past us without saying a word. We went to another restaurant.

The food is delicious, the drinks are tasty and the bartenders are doing a great job with the service. The atmosphere is one of a kind.

Hello just wanted to say I was in your Pub last week arrived around 6:30 and wasn't seated right away even though there were tables available.
It took 15 minutes just to get a drink!!!
When we ordered we did not order exactly what we wanted because it was taking so long to get our drinks that we did not want our food to take as long.
Anyway to make a long story short it took about and hour...

Tooky Mills has all of the potential to be a great restaurant, and yet isnt. Living locally, I have been three times in different years and have experienced the same problems each time. The service is simply awful! Twice I have been sat at a table and it has been close to an hour to get my order taken. The second time I asked the hostess twice to find our waitress and she eventually ended up taking us herself. The third time I was part of a larger party (their choice to go there, not mine) The concept of seperating checks was a mystery and TWICE IN A ROW the waitress took drink orders...
