On the Water

On our 2nd trip to Bay Creek Resort for golf getaway, we dined at the Oyster Farm twice this year. Great location and views of the water. Service is great and the food is excellent. If you go to Cape Charles this is the place to eat

Food was not that good

Went on a beautiful Wednesday and thought the restaurant was very nice and had a beautiful view I had a fried flounder sandwich which was very bland and the breading way to crisp. The best thing they served for lunch was the kids "Mac & Cheese".

Great dining and view

This was our second visit to Oyster Farms, and the food was just as good as the first time. The crap soup was excellent. Service is also excellent and the sunset view is worth having dinner there.

Great food, romantic atmosphere, friendly wait staff. Had the flounder over corn grits. Will definitely eat here again on another trip to Cape Charles.

Lovely location, views. Oysters were wonderful. Menu had good selections including local fare. It was the off season and the staff was getting used to a new menu so service was off only slightly.

On a rainy Sunday afternoon we had a wonderful experience at the Oyster Farm. Great food, friendly people, sits on the water. Good place to stop.

Our first stop in Cape Charles and I would love to go back. We had dinner (it was around 7:30p on a Friday in March) there was no wait, great service, and the drinks were yummy! Although we ordered the Clam chowder the soup du jour was brought out (a gumbo) but we ate it anyway and it too was...

Happened to stop here after crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Delightful surprise. Beautiful spot and great food. We had mahi tacos and a steak filet. Both were perfectly done.

Although it has been through many changes; still great

Loved coming here since it was Aqua Restaurant. It has changed quite a bit, but I still enjoy it. The she crab soup is awesome!! Scallops are always good here. And the atmosphere/view couldn't be better.

Lovely Spot-OK Food

The Oyster Farm, formerly known as Aqua is on a beautiful spot with views of the Chesapeake Bay from most tables and a lovely outside deck. The under-lit onyx bar is a great place to chat and has wonderful bartenders. The menu is great if you are looking for oysters, fish tacos or some she crab bisque but I have...

Great place for seafood, even in middle of winter. Had two enjoyable dinners over a cold winter weekend. Service personal and excellent. Fresh raw, fried and Rockefeller oysters all outstanding, Crab soup delicious, as well as the calamari. Would highly recommend the scallops for entree. Wine reasonable, and especially try the special chocolate dessert.

Very popular place in the winter months too. The food was very good a little pricey. The wait staff was more animated with the locals and so so with us who are not from the area.

Cape Charles was the highlight of our visit to the Eastern Shore, and the meal we had at the Oyster Farm was by far the best we've had in a long time. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. Our server was well informed and very nice, and the entire meal was excellent. Do yourself a favor...

Go at sunset and you will not be diasppointed! Food was great. You should go here even if you do not enjoy seafood there are plenty of other options. It was recommended to us by a local who rates it his top place in town.

My wife & I were up in Cape Charles to visit our daughters family. We wanted to take them out to their favorite restaurant which turned out to be the Seafood Eatery at the oyster farm. What a good choice it turned out to be.
We started out by sharing a few appetizers. The oysters from the raw bar could...

This is a classy waterfront place with great service with a view of the Marina. I was there for the afternoon Game Day Special and had the best (3 doz) Oysters on the Half with beer battered onion rings + a craft draft with my squeeze to watch the Redskins trounce the Saints. The bill was around fifty bucks. The...

Recommended for lunch by friends who live on the Eastern Shore. Beautiful bar and decor with Marvelous view looking West to the Bay. They have a terrific aquarium with interesting and unusual sea life. Very attentive staff made our stop enjoyable. Although it was mid-week they weren't very busy. For us, the advantage was we could talk with our friends...

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way up the Eastern Shore. Recommended to us by a family member we were looking forward to one of our favorite dishes, oysters on the half shell. Good food and an interesting location. on the bay. The menu was more of a grill than fine dining. A good place to go with friends. Amazing aquariums and stocked with special marine life.

Yes, it's family friendly but it's more than that. If an unobstructed natural view of the Chesapeake Bay is important, and you want to enjoy a stylish, upscale restaurant, with good, satisfying food, this is the place for you. We love the tuna, flounder, crab cake, salmon, seafood stew, and soups.

The Oyster Farm Seafood Eatery is the sum total of the best of what the Eastern Shore of Virginia has to offer! Delicious entrees, fast, courteous wait staff, and the most beautiful scenery nature can offer. We have dined here often and have never, ever been disappointed!

The reviews made this place out to be something outstanding or excellent, but the service was lackadaisical. The hostesses were young and more interested in talking between themselves than welcoming new guests. Our waitress was young, immature, and not very good or knowledgable at answering questions about what's on their menu. Then she was slow and not very attentive. Our...
