BE WARNED!! It's a nice place to live, then you leave. The people at the front office were terrible. They were rude to my movers and acted terribly to me. They made you feel like a number rather than someone who spent $1500/month to live there. Just a terrible group of people. I would never go back to that horrible place.
I would highly recommend this apartment community. Excellent location, facilities, and office staff at competitive rates for the region. I lived in a few communities in the area and this place was by far the best.

Very poor management service. if the stay is short the management put some allegations and charge fine on the residents. Please ensure that before moving out of the apartment, get in written that everything is fien and you wont be charged for anything after you left. total unprofessionalism.

The Madison at Spring Oak is not what my husband and I expected at all. The apartment itself is great. The rooms and closets are spacious and everything is new. It is in a great location, near all shopping. But that is where the positive ends. The Madison at Spring Oak gives the impression of being a luxury top of the line apartment complex but it is not what it seems.
I am extremely happy with my apartment and eveything that goes along with Madison. The apartments are new and clean. The pools and workout facility are perfect. The staff are great and set up fun activities to meet your neighbors.

Paulette...sold me on my apartment. I will be moving to my apartment in the next week or so...I am so excited because Paulette made me feel so welcome. I have been here a few months. Its nice and quiet.. No problems. Apartments are smaller than what im used to here in VA. overall a bit pricey for size but the area is nice and i was able to keep my own washer and dryer! :-)
Moved here and the physical beauty of the actual apartment made me do it. Gorgeous structures. Really convenient to everything in the West End. 2, count'em, 2 pools. Overpriced, but in case you are afraid to live in Short Pump, we have a plethora of officers to keep you safe.
We liked this apartment until we moved. They tried to force us to pay 2 months rent because they did not have any forms for us to fill out when we moved after we called 3 times!
Not only do they have the best location they some of the best looking people I have ever seen live in this community. I love all the cops that live here its awesome. As far as the service, I've a had a few issues but nothing that wasn't taken care of quickly and professionally. I would love to refer as many people as I can to live here because they pay you to do that too!!!

Bad office and maintenance staff
I hate to write negative things but, this place is so dated. The range has rust on it , the dishwasher was finally replaced because it holds nasty water. Now the new was does the same. Old cabinets, tube has crack in it. I have a lot of pictures of all the things that are wrong! Please think very hard before you rent. Management is the most incompetent, dishonest, lazy, and rude you will likely encounter, even in a shoddy apartment complex at 1/2 the price. I believe that the maintenance budget must be limited because the place was 1/2 empty until the mall opened.
I have lived at the madison for 2 years and I love it. Never had a problem with neighbors or staff. The area is awesome for dinning shopping and entertainment. The only thing that bugs the heck out of me is the community dryers in the club house they never work, you allways end up paying for atleast two cycles befor they will dry. So just buy your own dryer and you will enjoy living here.

This place completely sucked. The leasing office staff were completely lazy; service people - lazy, took forever to fix problems; great place to live if you want to live next to noisy, obnoxious neighbors with paper-thin walls; had to threaten to take legal action against management for making false accusations about my garage door opener not being returned -they actually put it on my credit...
I am in the apartment complex for last 3.5 years, I was told couple of months back that i will be getting a new Carpet if renew my lease, but When I decided to move out, idiot in leasing office totally changed her tone and is now saying that carpet life is not over...and is not disclosing carpet life, when was new carpet installed...they are just looking to get some money
Service is poor. Complex not well built. Floor plans beautiful, convenient,etc. but if you have a maintenance problem forget it.
Extermination no good. Lots of spiders, crickets, ants, mice, etc. Water leaks. Gates still not operating. Quality of tenant being rented to is going downhill. Only saving grace is lots of police as tenants which I think is a crime deterent.
I recently moved out from another community (I will not say who) and it made me really miss living here! The closets are HUGE, as well as the bathrooms. They are reasonably priced and the staff is great. They had wonderful parties for us. I would highly recommend The Madison to anyone!
Be very careful of the leasing office in coming out with hidden charges at the end of the lease period. Sometimes they will come out with charges which you would have never imagined in life. Be very very careful of these. also, they send you malicious bills...any foreigners, do not even think of staying at this place. These are completely malicious people and this has not only happened with me...

Don't move in here. The office staff is always looking for ways to sock you with extra costs. Late one day on your rent over a holiday weekend? 15% penalty on top of your rent--all due by cashiers check which also costs extra. The Madison apartment complex is not made for families who enjoy having the peace and quiet you would expect to have at this price. The office staff is very polite but if you need something repaired of fixed they will try everything they can to save money and just superglue your problem with a temporary fix. If your young and rich on mommy and daddys money than this is the place for you.
