The car we bought is not safe and they have not fixed it in 18 months after 10 trips to the shop[. They have lied the car is a flood vehicle and now I have proof, so the next step is court.
I purchased a vehicle from the Auto Conndction Norfolk and it needed a total engine replacement after 18 months. I get that cars can be unpredictable and I am not disputing that, but my anger comes from Michael Wayne who wants to feed off of people. I still had about $9000 due on the car and the repair cost were close to $4500. It took them 2 months to get me the estimate and the auto repair department kept blowing me off. He wanted me to put half down on the repair while still paying the monthly payment which was $590 and then on top of that they wanted to add the balance of the repair to my loan and all at a finance charge of 18%. I also informed him that during the time that my car was in their shop that I had to pay for a rental car and continue to pay for a rental until it was fixed which they could not give me a specific window of time. I even asked if they could provide a loaner car so I could pay the amount needed and he said "no". The vehicle was overcharged to begin with and I had several reputable dealers in the area confirm this and they personally said that he was a crook. Unfortunately I can only blame myself for walking into the "Devils" hands and not making any excuses, but I have a hard time finding this to be a fair practice. And not to mention that I acted in good faith to try to work something out. Unfortunately, these are the people that God warns us about. Instead of wishing him ill I will get on my knees and pray that he will turn his business practices around and learns what it means to be a good person. Money has made him corrupt. I truly hope that readers will take this to heart and please go somewhere else to purchase your car. It looks good on the outside, but not so much on the inside. I have recently found out that there are much better dealerships here in the Hampton Roads that are much more honest and fair.

worst car dealership out!! beware!! I bought a car about a year and a half ago I've had nothing but problems with it. The people from the Midlothian store told me that the car only had a 2 months warranty, called Michael wayne investments come to find out the car has a 12 month warranty. They lie and sell you poor conditioned cars!!!!!!!!!

I bought my car from Auto Connection and just paid it off this week. I LOVE my car and I LOVE the service and respect I always got from Auto Connection. The finance department was always friendly when I called to pay and the service department was always great if I needed an oil change or state inspection. I am shocked there are people who have had bad experiences there, I just dont see how that is possible. This is the worst place to buy a car! I am almost done paying for my car I purchased in 2007. It was the worst decision I have ever made in my life!! The people at the Auto Connection are rude and could care less about any of it's customers... There is a device on all of their cars that turns your car off if you do not pay your car note, but what they don't tell you is that device will mess your car up! It will shut your car down even when you're up to date on your payments. This device has left me stranded MANY times and the sad thing about it is that the people at the Auto Connection...

I'm so glad to be done with this company. Bought a lemon car yrs ago with 100,000 more miles on it that they didn't disclose. (This was all before CarFax) It broke down repeatedly! Once on the interstate with my 1 yr old daughter. They never fixed the problem after countless times of trying and they finally just came and took it. Then put a judgement on us for an amount the car wasn't even worth! 7 yrs later I can happily put all this crap behind us for a car that probably went straight to the dump or knowing them they may have re-sold it on another unexpecting person!!!
I got a car from them approximately 2 years ago now.... The day I bought the car I should've just left it with them that night. I was on the interstate coming off the ramp and did the fuel injector mess up on me. I wasn't able to start my car. I got a ride home & notified them in the morning. By then the police had towed it away. The supposedly fixed the problem & in less than a month later the same thing happened again, on the interstate, so I had it sent to another branch to get it fixed. I was approved in 15 minutes..I had been turned down everywhere!! When I went into their Norfolk location, my salesperson was quick to tell me how much I was approved for, and I only had to put $325 down! I would send any friend here, in fact, I have...and I received $100 for doing it! Who wouldn't buy here?

Auto Connection sounds like the place that will help you even if you have repo no problem, no credit history no problem all lies. They do check your credit and they do care if you have had a repo in the past and they do care if you don't have any credit history. Young buyers will never get a car here. To bad. I bought a car back in 07 from the one in Richmond...I didn't have the car for 2 weeks because of the stupid sensor they have installed in them....then they also charged me almost $8000 more than the car was worth...I had a bad car accident in the car which totalled it out...my ins company only paid $5000 (which was what the car was worth) which left $4000 for me to pay...they do prey on ppl with bad credit...I was also charged a 22% interest rate....but when you are desperate...you have to do what you have to do...yea $300 down sound good...but thats how they pull you in...no one needs to...
I have had the worst experience possible with this dealership. The car that I bought I came to find out was about $5000 over priced and has had more problems then its worth. This dealership survives because some of us have had things happen in our lives that affect our credit and these people prey on that. On top of paying $400/mn for a 2001 Monte, I replaced the tired, the rotors, the brakes, the battery, the started, the cellonoid, the entire engine and now apparently the transmission. Unacceptable. You can't get in for service and when you do you get lied to. Definitely sour grapes...
