The staff were very nice, generous with towels and coffee, and the room was clean. Nothing fancy but it was good and the people were exceptional!
What did I like best? Well, it was right on the water. However there is no beach access, you have to walk down the street to get to it.\n\nThe police were there multiple times. The neighbors kept us up with X rated activity until 3am. Breakfast sucked. The motel is water front but has no beach access. There is a step up into the bathroom that I tripped on and face-planted into the tub. Ugh.

I stayed for three weeks the neighborhood seemed decent. My room was kind of beat up but very clean. The beds were comfy and had a pillow top layer. The place was a great value.

This Super 8 hotel is not maintained, not clean, it is old and should be demolished. Owner's just take your money without re-investing in proper installation and service. If I was a manager at Super 8, I would rather close this hotel than have my name on it.

It was alright. Was moving to an area nearby so it was a good place to sleep for the night and it was close to the highway in the morning. Not someplace I'd stay if I was vacationing in Norfolk or Virginia Beach, but it wasn't a terrible place to stay for a night before moving on.

This hotel had the children and I locked outside in the cold. The room had dirty top covers on beds. They had us outside in the cold while conducting business with my debit card. I've been staying at this hotel for a number of years now, and it has not changed much. It's in a good location, close to Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Hampton, Virginia. Easy on and off access to Interstate 64.

A good place to sleep and have the money to go do fun things.
It was located right on the ocean which I enjoyed. I could see clear to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. I could tell the hotel was still working to repair rooms. My room was clean with new carpet and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself still needs some TLC. But, the price was affordable. Breakfast was adequate.

The motel is right on the beach, unforturnately there is a fence between the motel and the beach. A short walk around the length of the fence will get you access to the beach.

The rooms at the Super 8 motel were fairly confortable but you wouldn't think so based on the grungy looking office. However, there was a sign stating that they are under new management. You could also see they were trying to spruce up the place with fresh paint and new carpeting. And also, you do usually get what you pay for.
It was a decent place, clean, comfortable but nothing extra. Only stayed one night so it was fine- continental breakfast wasn't available at 10 am when we checked out.
The entire place was a mess, and our AC unit was leaking all over the place, and wouldnt cool the room. We let the staff know and they claimed to have come up and taken a look at it but it never got taken care of.
Hotel was good for the money spent, especially considering the location which is on the beach. Bed was very comfortable. Exterior could use a little spruce up, but other than that no complaints.

The Super 8 Motel in Norfolk was a nice surprise to us . The room and bathroom were clean, the staff was friendly and responsive. Although we did not like the neighborhood the view on the ocean was great. One could also wish for a bigger dining area but we only stayed one nigh so it was OK with us.

The neighborhood is questionable. With condo's going up maybe this will improve. The clientelle they 'rent' to is questionable. The oceanview is wonderful. We would not stay again as safety would be an issue. I spoke with locals living on the beach and they said that they type of people that they rent to are less desirable.
