Nothing\n\nWe didn't like anything about this hotel. The location was in a bad area. The surrounding area of the hotel look like a dump site. We took our business somewhere else.
The place is dirty and ran down. There were people shouting late in to the night, the whole building looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. My god!! The sheets were dirty. Over all the worst, I stayed there because I couldn't find an other hotel.
one night stay, the hotel has everything you need, it is an old hotel. Price is great.
On business so I showered and slept in room. Serve my needs.
This hotel was easy to find for a traveler from another state like myself. Staff was helpful and friendly overall. It seemed to be a family owned hotel. The room was cleaner than I expected and there was no hallway-noise during the night.\n\nNot sure if the hotel was family owned or not but they could have been a little more professional in the presence of guests, attire included. There was no...
After a long day at the beach I needed a nice bath and a nice bed. Exactly what I found. A bathroom with lots of towels and clean and a comfortable bed.
Very dirty, sketchy characters walking around all times of the night, the windows don't lock on the first floor and the...please stay away for your own safety.
The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty good.\n\nThe hotel was dirty. Everything smelled like cigarettes even though we requested a non-smoking room.
Location\n\nNight staff was the worst...
the staffs are nice and the room is clean.\n\nThe strong bleach smell when I first walk into the room(just need to open the window to air out for like 5 mins), its good to know they clean the room.
The hotel was very dirty and had a very bad smell. The carpet in the room looked so dirty I would not go barefoot. The bed comforter was soiled and spotted – I wouldn't even sleep under it, I turned the heat up and used the sheet only. The pillows were flatter than pancakes and the bed was lumpy and hard. Sometimes you get what you pay for and I understand that. However, this wasn't even close...
徒歩圏内には食事や買い物をする場所がありませんので,車が必須ですが,駐車場も広く,幹線大通りからアクセスしやすいモーテルです.
Got there talked to the lady at the window and she was cool. Room was clean but you could smell the smokers from the hallways. Other than that it was a good value.
You get what you pay for. Has all the necessities, rooms aren't the cleanest but it's comfortable for a short stay.
My first impression was soiled furniture stacked on the landing adjacent to my room. Noisy people roamed the hallways at all hours of night. Half of the rooms contained sketchy permanent residents. The neighborhood is really seedy. Only park in front lot.
Slept well and was relatively quiet. Beds were relatively comfortable and restroom was clean.
They didn't allow us to stay we had a pet and website did not say..no pets. I lost money for that nights stay\n\nSee above\n\nPost no pets allowed

Extremely easy to find. Bernard checked us in and was very very nice. I am a professional housekeeper.I was pleasantly surprised that my room and especially the bathroom was spotless.. Woohoo !!!!!!
We stayed 2 nights! The staff was extremely friendly. The price was great. It's close to Buckroe Beach which was wonderful. Our room was clean. It had a refrigerator and microwave. The only problem was a stale odor we think was coming from the air conditioner. We would stay here again, no question!
I would give it a 3. Overall but the service was a 5. The location was bad and the surrounding area was bad.
First night noticed that one of the beds had two broken legs, the bed was inclined towards the wall, then the rooms weren't cleaned at all (had 3 rooms) , tips were left in each room, tips was gone but the rooms were left dirty.
It was all right. It was a smoking hotel so you had to have your AC run for a bit to get the smell out of the room. Otherwise quality was fine if you were there for a short stay like a weekend trip.
It was somewhat cheap in price.\n\nThe room was NOT clean by any means. I do believe that people were using this hotel as home instead of a short stay. Kind of a scary place.
The hotel was a great price and very comfy. I didn't want to spend a lot on a room and this was affordable and the room was nice.\n\nThere's wasn't anything I disliked about the room.
Two pillows available is usual, but not in drawers in room. Banging in plumbing woke me up many times during the night.
I have to say that I was happy with the value. The location was right off the Expressway I64. 20 Minutes from Norfolk Airport. The room was very clean especially the bathroom. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was good. Not a lot of seating area but if you want some juice and a muffin to go, it was very good. I was taken a back when I checked in as the manager had the glass up indicating a...
Nice for short stay. Budget friendly, friendly front desk staff. Very safe area, however no restaurants or bars within walking distance.
and that's all I needed, its close to Hampton Coliseum.
I would not recommend this hotel at all!!!!!!
Hotel lobby appearance was not appealing and made us wonder if we would feel comfortable staying there. However, the room with two queen beds was comfortable and the appearance was nice. Room included breakfast. The staff at the registration counter were helpful and friendly. It was easy to confirm the room reservations 30 days before the August arrival, the Expedia purchase made several months...
We loved our stay!!!The person at front desk was very friendly and we were checked in very fast. she was very helpful with directions to closes Beach and any thing in the area. we had never stayed in Hampton before, but trust me we will be back!!!check out was a great also with us being invited back.we had super visit!!!!
Considering the price...the motel was good enough. But I will never stay in a hotel like this again on a trip down to the Williamsburg area. The lights near the bed were not working, the room was muggy and smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The bathroom was very clean, however, and had great water pressure in the shower. And the service desk staff were very friendly and...
I liked my stay at this hotel, even though the breakfast was not super great. We got this hotel because it was close enough to VA Beach. It is about 35minutes without traffic to VA beach. We have no complaints about our stay there. I would stay here again.
Our room was supposed to be non smoking but the whole floor reeked of stale smoke.
On our way back from Obx, we decided to make a few pit stops in various cities. After a disastrous and expensive stay at a Holiday Inn in another city, we decided to just go cheap for our next night's stay. We were very happy to see that this cheap motel was actually ten times better than the overpriced one...
Nice room. Wanted microwave and refrigerator I called front desk and they send both in quickly. Smelled good. Watched movie in wifi good signal strength and speed and breakfast was good value. Friendly staff. Close to where I wanted to be
When we 1st pulled in it was a sketchy neighborhood then when had to walk though security to the entrance. To check in you had to talk to a lady though thick glass. Very loud noises at night!!! Never stay again, unfortunately we had stayed on the 4th and ALL other hotels where overbooked
This hotel was much cheaper than the other options I had, and there was really nothing wrong with it. The breakfast was very basic -- waffles and cereal -- but so what? If you're driving, it's close to downtown and other sights. If not, taxi service is reasonably cheap and there is also a bus nearby.
I didn't have a good experience at this motel. For starters the carpet in the room was nasty, walked around on it barefoot and the bottom of my feet turned brown! There was trash around the night stand and under the edge of the bed! The bed was also very uncomfortable. I would not recommend to stay at this motel...
The beds were very comfortable. The carpet had a strong perfume smell. The overall room was very good.
It was a night mare druggies in the hall room was filthy holes in wall looked like making wine in bathtub drains clogged sink stained and and very slow draining i took pictures we found another hotel 4 the following nights
I walked into the room and instantly became nauseated from the smell. About 10 minutes later, I found myself in the bathroom vomiting..... The room has no microwave and the one ice machine that the hotel has was broken. If I hadn't booked online with hotel.com's no refund policy, I would've left stayed somewhere else. Needless to say, I definitely WON'T be staying there again.
This was the worst place I have ever stayed the room was dirty & Hot the fridge had something rotten in it. Dirty towel was hanging behind door I took it to the front desk no response from them. They changed the fridge and it was dirty. They told me they were sold out and did not have any other...
It was a bare-bones room with just the necesseties. The room was fairly clean but there was an armchair in the corner that was in DIRE NEED of cleaning, it looked as if comeone had urinated on it at some point. It was really gross. I had to cover it with a towel to be able to sit on it. The staff was pleasant and we were promised a breakfast which consisted of danishes, muffns, coffee, tea,...
For the price, it's a good deal. A little skeptical at first when the lady at the front desk was behind glass, but I guess it's understandable these days. Clean and really worked well for my business trip to Hampton. Would stay here again.
Looking at the other reviews of this hotel, I wonder... or maybe it is under new management, since the name I saw on another review isn't the current management. I stayed for 13 days, and the room was always clean, maintainence requests were handled quickly and appropriately, and the staff was very friendly. I do agree that the lack of...
I reserved and paid for this rm about a wk before I stayed there. My reservation was for nonsmk and a queen size bed. When I checked I they had neither. I hate the smell of cigaret smk and I hd to sleep in a smk rm for one nite. When they changed me to another room in the morning the rm was a double bed. I was happy or satisfied with super 8.
For the price, it's a real bargain. The staff are extra helpful and friendly. It sure ain't the Ritz, but for what you pay it's great. Close to everything in Hampton. The sign out front said 'under new management,' so it may be different from what others have described. I would definitely stay again.
Wanting to save money AND be close to our destination, I was pleased with our stay. The front desk people remembered our name and went out of their way to be helpful. This place got the job done!
The hotel is in serious need of a remodel. It smelled of stale air, the front desk staff were arguing with each other as guests were walking in and out.
It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
The room smelled pretty bad (skanky musty smell.) Bathtub faucet leaky. Beds were not comfortable at all.. and were pretty gross. I advise taking your own blankets/pillows if you choose to stay at this hotel. ...But I guess you can't expect too much from a hotel that accepts dogs and has condoms in the vending machines.
I understand that it was a "smoking" room but the stench was nearly unbearable. The walls were not very clean. the bedding was torn, and worst of all the toilet seat was not cleaned when we got there or at any time while we were there. MY WIFE CLEANED THE SEAT HERSELF!!! YUCK!!!
The staff was very friendly. The hotel need to be updated. A little paint won't hurt, new sheets and bed speeds. Refrigerator had food left in it from the last person the occupied the room.
If you want to stay downtown, but can't afford the prices, then consider this place. A cab ride downtown is less than $10. And you'll save more than that by staying here. It's also near the interstate. The only disadvantage is that the area is not very walkable. The room was OK--nothing fancy, but decent. I left my key in the room, and the desk clerk replaced it right away.

Hotel is very conveniently located between Hampton University and the Hampton Colliseum. Hotel is clean and looks recently renovated. Lobby and central meeting areas non-existant. Rooms relatively small. No pool. I would consider staying there again.
Once again you get what pay for.
If you are just looking for a place to sleep and don't plan on spending any time in the room then this is the place for you. The room was a little smaller than the average hotel room and was not comforatble for my family of four. I'm glad I changed my reservation to only one night because I think I would have been upset if I had to stay there another night. It is located in an area that is...
Stayed here recently on business in Hampton, Va. Decent hotel for the money. And the wireless internet actually works here as opposed to other hotels. Good restaurant selection nearby... Outback, Ruby Tuesday etc... I'll stay here on business trips in the future.
