I have no problem w/hotel , only have been paying corporate rate & some of staff that are there & check in don't seem to believe me , so this has to be corrected by my checkout & one lady fixes it every time.
Very comfortable room & great hot breakfast-even soup! On our northbound return home trip, we could not find the correct exit on I-95. It would have been helpful if the exit # had been printed on the receipt.
The front desk personnel are nice and friendly, I was quickly checked in. But the first room had an issue with the TV, and the door had at one point been broken so it did not close up top. The wall had been repaired where someone had made two holes in it, but the repair job was poor at best....
As always the people here are excellant. While an old property, they are ver friendy and accomodating. But the shelf and clothes hanging apparatus pulled from the wall on the second day of our stay and was not repaired when we left. Also, the level of the sink is so low as to be uncomfortable.
Where to begin,the heater didn't work and was falling out of the holder,the bed sagged in middle it must have been there since the place was built. the bathroom had black mold in it and the room stunk like a dog. The door had 1/4 inch crack at the bottom. I would not recommend this motel to anyone looking for...
Woke up to a mouse eating a bar soap running around the whole world went to the front desk the lady gave us $10 off we ran out of the place horrible do not recommend it for anybody

Checked into our room and found a dead bug on heating unit and the previous people's receipt to a convenience store sitting on floor. Bathroom was disgusting. Mold on wall and bathroom was in dire need of repairs.

Service from the clerk on duty was excellent. I arrived a little after 11:00 p.m. He could tell I was in need of a room, tired. He was fantastic. Great help! Nice room. Quiet. Clean. Breakfast bar in the morning. The only suggestion I would have is that the breakfast bar be kept open longer than 9:30 in the morning....
The room was run down. Furniture was old scratched and stained. Walls were damaged and needed repair work. Other than being run down it was clean.
We stayed at the Super 8 last weeks and it was clean, but the beds left a bit to be desired. The bedspread had holes in it and the bed squeeked when turning over. The A/C was noisy and I had to shut it off.

Reservation was for a King Size bed. Called at 6 pm to confirm - no rooms with King Size beds available. Alarm clock broken. Ice machine broken. Bed mattress very broken. Room generally dirty. Could not wait to check out at 5 am. Wyndham and Super 8 should be ashamed.

This was a spur of the moment stay after waiting three hours for auto club service earlier in the evening and finding myself unwilling to keep driving too late into the morning. I chose this hotel because it is conveniently located off of I-95. We were traveling with my small dog, and the hotel is pet friendly. The free breakfast is convenient. Only two complaints, this was our third time at the hotel, and their pool is never working. And the beds are noisy, every time we moved around it made so much noise. We are looking for a place to rest for the night from long hours of driving. The other hotels were full so we tried this one. The towels and bed sheets that are supposed to be white does not look white at all. The blanket has hair on them, carpet is dirty too with balls of hair (dog?). The room is dusty and has cobwebs.
100$ for 1 night. No fridge, no microwave. Dirty men's underwear hanging in bathroom. Employee came to get them sprayed a nasty air spray that was horrible. The price was right. Bummed the pool was closed. The breakfast was what we were expecting. Cleanliness was average.
Had my daughter find me a place close to I95 to spend the night. Was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean the place was. The only caveat is that the bath tub was slippery and there was no non slip mat to put into the tub.

I made last minute reservations after driving 12 hours and found the front desk girl very nice. I usually wake up no later than 5am but the mattress was so comfortable I slept until 7am. I look forward to returning soon

Just needed a place to sleep for the night along my way traveling south. It was a good place for the price and it was about the halfway point to my destination. It served the purpose of a place to sleep and shower. The only issue was some people were noisy at around 3am. I cannot comment on the free breakfast as I did not eat anything.
The pictures online are very deceptive. Only the lobby seems to have received a "renovation" minus the out of order restroom, dirty mop smell, and frigid temperature. Hotel staff were helpful in replacing several stain covered pillows that were on our bed upon entering. Cheap is not the way to go for this place.
We arrived after dark and the check in clerk was outside in his car. Not sure what was going on. Had stopped at the store next door and there were a lot of unsavory characters in the area. The room had a very disturbing odor, the front desk clerk was very unprofessional and rude. We had only stayed there for only 40 minutes before switching to another hotel. My experience at the hotel for the time we stayed was unpleasant and I was not satisfied.

Though the hotel was conveniently located off of the interstate, Roanoke Rapids doesn't have much to do for entertainment. The room was fairly clean, but the bed wasn't the best I've had.

Not up to even Super 8 standards, but consider the location in the middle of nowhere. It's a so-so hotel but overpriced for what is offered. In fairness, the hotel was old before it acquired the Super 8 brand. And it's the overall appearance on which this rating is based. The rooms are drab but fine for a traveller like me.

This Super 8 needs some help. There was a stain on the blanket. In the bathroom the tub didn't look clean, plus there was a huge crack going across the wall. Luck for me I only paid twenty dollars for the night.

My husband was travling home to Florida where his family lives and needed to lay over for some rest was travling home from Canada. He pulled into the Super 8 and the lady at the front desk let him book his room then when he went too pay for it with his Visa card which is from a Canadian Bank got told Oh we don't take those Visa Cards! People all over Canada come too the US everyday of the year...
I've stayed in Super 8's before (Tampa FL) and it was clean and well appointed. This hotel room was just gross. A dirty wash cloth was left on the shower curtain bar, the sink cabinet was broken and barely attached to the wall, and the bathroom floor was hairy.
If you are looking for a place to lay your head after a long trip up or down 95 this is the place. Fast friendly customer service. affordability, and best of all easy, free, wifi connectivity....this i didn't expect. I was able to plug in my laptop and charge my cell and ipod off of it. plus surf the web. ready for sleep in less than 30mins. Love this. It's not fancy.... It is simple and clean...
