Free coffee refills and budget rates make this motel tops with highway travelers.

In Short
The first Super 8 opened in Aberdeen, S.D., in 1974, charging $8.88 a night. Today, the national franchise, with its familiar red-and-yellow sign, still stands for dependable...

I was tired when I pulled off of the highway. I was somewhat concerned about the poor lighting in the dark parking lot. I repositioned my car to be next to the Office. Even concerned that by doing that I might be perceived as a possible Robbery suspect.
Very little activity anywhere on the premises except for 2 males walking...

Checked into this hotel on Good Friday. Seem the manager was training a new person on a holiday weekend. It was 82 degrees you could of passed out in the hallway of the hotel. Things pretty clean. Comfortable bed (firm, not saggy). Mini fridge and microwave. A/C looks new. Now the minuses... Wifi, that others complain about, about 4 shown, only able to connect to 1 and get dumped every few minutes and I stayed right next to the office! Something needs to be done as people depend on wifi these days. Breakfast, what...

At first I didn't feel welcomed, because the gentlemen i assume to be the manager was very rude. A young lady came from behind the desk and showed me to my room, and helped me feel at ease before my check in was processed. The overall room was wonderful. It was very clean, as was the hotel in general. The only...

This is a good hotel. The room isn't fancy but it is clean. They cleaned it everyday that I was there and gave me fresh linens and towels. The breakfast isn't great but it was ok. The people there are very friendly. My only issue was that even in the non smoking room it smells like smoke because they smoke all over. I would stay there again if I was in that area.

Needs updating

This hotel would be great if the rooms were updated. The room décor is for the 1970's. If I had to I would stay again because I felt safe. The hotel is really in need of updating but I must say it was clean and its in walking distance of Wal-Mart and restaurants.

My husband and I travel a lot with our job so we stay in a lot of motels. This was the worst. We had a late check in, the owner/ manager was the one to check us in (I'm assuming) he was the only one working through our entire 3 night stay.
He was rude at first be when I...

It served its purpose as a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to take a shower in. Otherwise, the room smelled funny and the shower water was either too hot or too cold. Don't plan on staying there again.

It was convenient to US 58 and could be seen from the highway. I also prefer a hotel vice a motel. The folks there were friendly. For the price I paid, I thought it was a decent room. I didn't need very much. I didn't spend a lot of time there.\n\nI wish the TV had a timer where it could be turned off automatically. I also didn't care for being charged a $1.00 a day for the in-room safe that I...

The room was nice and spacious and the night desk clerk was very nice.\n\nThe Sunday morning clerk's attitude wasn't too great and the food was scarce.\n\nNot a bad hotel for the rating. 1 or 2 nights would probably be the limit for me. I felt that the morning clerk didn't want to be there. She wouldn't speak (a thank you when we checked out would have been nice). Breakfast area consists of...

It is close to Chowan University.\n\nThis was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. The walls in the room were filthy. The telephone was so dirty I would not touch it. The bathroom was disgusting. it was clean, plain and simple, we were not looking for an elegant hotel\n\nwe were only looking for a moderate price, clean hotel. We were visting family and only needed to sleep and shower there. It was nice that it had a small refrigerator also to hold drinks. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
