We love Sugar Plum! My husband and I decided we would use them for our wedding cakes. Instead of one cake, we ordered a variety of the specialty cakes and put them on different cake stands. Doughnuts, Eclairs, Cake. All angelic delights made by their friendly and wonderful staff. Feels good too that every penny spent here goes to a worthy not-for-profit! I had got some cake pops as a gift today and I have to say it is some of the best cake pops and cake in general that I've ever had! We got our wedding cake from here and it was both beautiful and delicious - not something you always get in a wedding cake! Everyone loved it. The staff were a little hard to get in touch with and didn't always follow up in the ways they said they would, which made me nervous but everything turned out just wonderfully!
The nice lady at our timeshare told us of this place. The workers are folks with special needs. Great bakery that I recommend all visit when in Va Beach.

Sugar Plum's cakes are amazing, no doubt about it, but the cookies and pies (and everything in that magic case) are so yummy too! The cupcakes are my favorite, but Sugar Plum never disappoints! The cakes are always beautiful (almost too pretty to eat...almost) and so delicious. I have ordered custom cakes with everything from a photo of my daughter's Goth band crush for her sweet 16 to a skateboarding theme to a cowboy cake and they were all perfect. Whenever anyone sees the white box and purple logo you can see the anticipation of great things to come.
