We provide repairs, for washers, dryers, microwaves, oven's, refrigerator's, freezers, dishwasher, garbage disposals. Norman and Rhonda Pearce own Suffolk Appliance Parts. These guyz are the best ! We have several investment properties as well as our personal home that have home warranties with First American Home Warranty. In the past several years, we have had occasional problems that have required repairs on all properties. One of these was a dishwasher that leaked from the bottom of the door and was worked on by another local appliance company. They were unable to repair it and after the second return wouldn't answer my phone calls anymore. So I called First American back and they authorized us to use our own appliance repair company and we'd be reimbursed. We called Suffolk Appliance, the guy was out there same day, and found the actual problem in less than 5 minutes ! I couldn't believe it, the other company was replacing parts as they guessed the problem... We paid the bill and the reimbursement was completed w/i a week. On another occasion we called them for another rental problem on a Friday, a trash disposal unit that was leaking. They were there the following Monday am and were driving away within an hour, job done ! They are professional, reliable and I value their expertise in keeping us worry free ! Highly recommend them to anyone !
Technician that came out replaced my broken ice maker. Several hours later, ice maker still bad. I tried multiple times to call the technician and left messages with Suffolk Appliance, technician never called me back. Called Suffolk Appliance only to find out they had put me on the books for a follow-up, no one called me to tell me that. The day technician was to come out again, he called me, i returned the call 10 minutes later...He never showed up...Poor Customer Service....Do not use them!!!
Although I am an avid supporter of small businesses as a small business owner myself, this company underperformed in my opinion. After vigilantly waiting during a 4 hour window, the technician incorrectly dialed my cellphone number and my service never happened. Upon informing the company, I was told that they back their technicians 100% and the customer comes second. As I understand that unforeseen circumstances befall us all, this company did not respect me as a customer nor consumer and basically "blew off" my concerns without even an apology. In this economy, many would be better off utilizing businesses that understand that our customers keep the doors open, not our employees. It is unfortunate that this small business does not understand "the small things."
We were referred to Suffolk Appliance through our realtor property manager to deal with our leaky freezer. That was abo...ut 5 months ago and our freezer is still leaking. They were supposed to order a part to install to fix the problem and never bothered to even call us to let us know that they don't make the part in black (the color of our refrigerator/freezer).
