Help us make it rightSeafood Restaurant
My family frequents this restaurant three to four times each month. There is great food, reasonably priced and very good customer service.
Great place to eat before you go over the bridge. Clean, quick, good food , and BIG portions. FRIENDLY!! You can eat there, get souvenirs, and fill up with gas. On the main drag to the bridge. Would go back again.
Yes, it is the back of a gas station, but don't be turned off. After driving by for years but not at meal time, we had to stop this time for breakfast. Nothing fancy, just a walk up ordering counter and tables to sit at while eating. One waitress handled the entire room bringing out the orders and refilling coffee,...
This is not only the 1st Restaurant you come to when you cross over from Va Beach to Eastern Shore, it's the ONLY Restaurant you need to try for breakfast.
Really big helpings of all the basic fare, eggs, pancakes, biscuits & gravy.
Service is friendly but a little slow, so don't stop to fill up with gas and buy...
Exxon gas station with a convenience store, discount if you were to pay your gasoline in cash, etc.
We were staying overnight at the Shore Stay Suites across the highway, and Stingrays was the most convenient place to get food to bring back to our room after a long drive. We ordered a half rack of ribs to share, and they were extremely tasty. We had stopped there once before because ribs were advertised on their sign, but...
The service was very good. The food was fresh, portion size good and menu items were reasonably priced.
This place is great with no frills. From the slightly sweet cornbread to the broiled crabcake, the food is delicious and hearty. I came on recommendation and loved to choice of sides. The place has a charm that reminds me of the 1960s and 1970s.
I seldom write a negative review, but something has changed here. Have been stopping at Stingrays since the early 1970s. Plan our ventures on the Eastern Shore to allow a stop for their wonderful seafood and soups.
Unfortunately, this stop may be the last for quite a while. They were busy (and often are). The table was wiped, but sticky...
Holy Toledo -- if you have never had a sweet potato biscuit with grilled country ham, then you better stop here and have one (or 4). Heard about them from a local - as advertised - they were amazing! Cozy little diner inside a gas station type road side rest stop. I did not have anything -- these were really...
Stopped for breakfast on the start of a road trip. The place only had two other tables which were already served their meals so we couldn't understand why it took almost 30 minutes to get our breakfast. My husband ordered a ham and egg omelette and he asked if it was possible to add mushrooms; he was told of course!...
Best Scallops & Mac/Cheese on the Eastern Shore:)
Great eats!
Seafood heaven! Awesome crab cakes!
This place is terrific. Good food, all kinds of odds and ends to buy, and their bread pudding with bourbon sauce is the bomb. Try it out.
If you're looking for fresh local seafood and a bit of Eastern Shore nostalgia, visit Sting-ray's Restaurant which has been featured in various food magazines many times. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!!!
