We checked in on a Wed night and had our room waiting for us. The staff was friendly and nice, and there were no issues with check in and check out. The continental breakfast was "alright" .... Just an overnight stay, but very enjoyable. Extremely convenient location between the shopping area and a residential area. Loved the kitchenette and the comfort of a bedroom area and sitting area.

I would highly recommend this hotel. My family stayed here for 5 nights while construction was being done at home. The staff was very helpful and courteous and the rooms clean and comfortable.

Could provide safes in the room. Don't allow SMOKING at the entrance to the hotel. Still able to inhale 2nd hand smoke with smoking being allowed at the entrance. Allow pets to stay on floors 1 and 2 ONLY. Everyone is not pet friendly but don't mind staying at your place if pets are not allowed on every floor. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our stay.
I really enjoyed my stay! Everything was great, especially the breakfast. I had thought it would be a bread and cheese type deal, but they offered MEAT, eggs, waffles, cereal---did I say MEAT? Grandparents stayed here when in town for a high school graduation. They loved it. Big, clean rooms, excellent breakfast buffet and great service. They've stayed here twice and would rather stay here than at my house when they come into town for a visit.
I enjoyed my stay. Easy access to VA Beach and Busch Gardens. Free daily breakfast! If you want to be near both, this is the perfect location.

I brought my daughters down to Yorktown on 4th of July to celebrate where the Revolutionary War ended. We booked the hotel last minute and I was pleasantly surprised at what we found there. I booked through Expedia and didn't realize I got a smoking room until I saw my emailed receipt. Most things were okay with our stay but it is unnerving that after talking to the head of housekeeping it is acceptable that our toothbrushes be touched, our food and medicine to be "reorganized", and diaper changing pads to be folded and placed on our pillows.
I have traveled for quite awhile. This hotel was simply the best period.
Overall, this hotel was top-notch. The daily breakfast buffet and light dinner during the week was a bonus. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a prefect location for day trips to the historical areas and the beach areas alike. The quality of housekeeping service was somewhat disappointing, but I would not hesitate to stay here again.
All and all, a good stay. The sofa however needs replaced as it is dated and worn. My wife covered it with a sheet before we sat on it.

The room and facilities were great. However, I had a lingering odor of bacon which lasted throughout my stay. I called at 8:30 pm and it did not get any attention until the following afternoon when I left a note for housekeeping.

Didn't know this was like an extended stay. Toilet wasn't working lady gave me a plunger to fix myself. No maintenance person in sight. Pull out couch a joke it's thin it has no covering on it my kids started itching badly from touch. Front desk guy was short and rude as he was getting off his shift.

Stayed here on Valentine's Day after I flew in from Florida. I flew in late and My Fiance had to drive 2 hrs to get me so it was easier to stay close to the airport. It was so much nicer than I thought and great for us on Valentines. If we didn't have other plans that weekend I would have stayed all weekend. Will be looking for Staybridges in the future when I travel!

everyone was very nice from the time we checked in til the time we left. the location is great. grocery, movies, ice staking. all within walking distance. the hotel's nice to hang around too....the only complaint I can say, is we could hear the people next door people down the hall. but i liked the rooms they were clean, the staff very friendly, the location. we would stay there again:)
We were able to comfortably fit us and our 5 children in their suite. The staff is excellent and very willing to make your staff as comfortable as possible.

We took advantage of the free dinner one night - chef salad, some fruit, etc. and enjoyed visiting with a few of the other individuals staying at the hotel. The breakfasts are nice as well. If you are looking for gourmet food, this is not the place, but we enjoyed saving some $$$ and enjoyed the meals. Every staff member we encountered was quite helpful and friendly.

I love this hotel. We have stayed here before and it was great then and great now.\n\nI just wish it was in Williamsburg. We spent the majority of our time there in Williamsburg and the interstate between the hotel and Williamsburg was always a mess and took forever because of traffic.\n\nIt worked out well. My Husband and I have stayed here twice. Both times the staff were really nice and the rooms were great! However if you desire daily room cleaning they only clean your room weekly. They have an honor system for their snack bar and its in a very quiet location.
