The staff is super helpful, selection is amazing, and they have ski trips every weekend during the season. Their bus trips to SnowShoe are awesome!

Ski world has great customer service. They help me get sized and fitted for my snowboard rentals for an upcoming trip . so all I had to do was pick it up when I was ready to go

Ski World is a mediocre store but the only game in town. Their selection is average for a ski shop and their staff are knowledgable if a bit opinionated. A decent selection for being at the beach. Staff is ok but not super helpful. Great ski trips offered for those who want to go but. Might now have anyone to go with. Ski rentals available. Was disappointed that they ran out of lift tickets...but it was the end of the season. Great end of the year sales!

This family-owned store in Virginia Beach subscribes to the antiquated policy of no refunds or credit on returned items AND they do not inform you of that upon purchase. Their world offers you, the consumer, no ability to change your mind or find that the item is no longer appropriate for your needs without repurchasing at their store. I had a very Similar experience. This buisness uses a shaddy form of returns on items in that they only allow store credit. They are only very happy to tell you that, after you return to the store with the item and not at checkout. Even the few stores that do this online warn you before you finish cecking out. Due to the expensive nature of items there, store credit does not allow you to get what you need, holding up hundreds of dolars in store credit to buy things you don't need. unfortunately this is one of the few ski shops in the area. I've been shopping there for years and have enjoyed it; even though their prices are the same or higher than online. I recieved a pair of boots for christmas and wanted to exchange them for a different size. they told me the boots are not available in the size i wanted. so i called the manufacturer of the boots and they told me they have plenty in stock in the size and color i wanted. i called back and spoke with the guy again and he told me he was looking at their site and it said they have zero in stock. so i got on my...

I got to snow ski for free as I was a ski captain for three trips to Virginia and West Virginia. The bus trips were fun and I recommend becoming a ski captain at Ski World and Ski World sells everything associated with snow skiing.
