The hotel creates expectations it does not fulfill. The website says dinner is served Thursday through Sunday. We arrived Thursday night expecting to eat at the hotel, but no dinner was served that night nor any night of our weekend stay. A pool and hot tub are also on the website; they are not open or useable. A gas fireplace is advertised, we specifically booked a room that had one, and...

Upon pulling into the Silas Griffith Inn, we were warmly welcomed by Kathy the owner, who was pleasant and personable. She asked our plans and suggested a few excursions in the area.
