There is a constant channge in property managers, assistants, and maintenance. Roaches are everywhere, the dumspters overfill and when you call for a maintenance problem they, 1. Jessica doesn't believe the problem 2.They take forever to fix the issue and 3. They half way fix the problem. Granted I just moved in 3 months ago, I don't think it is really that bad of a place. Yes the grounds could use more attention. But my kids are safe. One thing I have noticed is the office staff cares alot, and doesn't tolerate bad tenants. I haven't really had anything broke so I don't know about the maintenance.

Things have changed and for the better. The new staff really cares about your problems and trys to get them fixed right away. I will say that the people that have been causing problems don't live here anymore and we have great new nighbors now. The kids all have a great time playing and I feel safe with them being outside.

From the day I moved into these apartments, knew it was a mistake. Basically I am paying to live with roaches, bad plumbing , old carpet, and much more. Maintenance has just improved but when I first moved in it was horrible. It was basically impossible to get a work order completed. If you are even considering moving into these apartments...DONT!!!..you have been forwarned!!!

DONT MOVE HERE. We have had shootings two nights in a row now, and shots are fired on nearly a weekly average basis. Cockroaches, bedbugs, and slow often-forgetful maitenance make it a bad place to live.

Roaches, shootings, flooding, broken this-that-and the 3rd. Maintenance sucks. Laundry room wrecked our clothes and ate a lot of money. Roads are not marked well. Community is not safe. We hear gunshots over drug deals a lot. Look on the www.dailypress.com newport news crime report.

Contrary to what the other review said, these are good apartments for what you pay. You really cannot find a better & cheaper apartment in Newport News. Believe me I looked. You could have better but you would need a extra $200.00 to $250.00 a month just for rent, plus you may more utilities depending on where you go. But do your own research, cause these are reasonable.
