Doctor Hodges has cared for me over some twenty years. He has helped to heal my body's many parts, including my shoulder, elbow, hip and lower back, knee, and ankle. He really is quite a remarkable fellow, and has, I've found, a wonderful sense of, and appreciation of, humor.

In Dec 2019 Dr Tankersley replaces my right knee. My recovery has been great! Scaring is minimal. At my 2 week check-up my leg straightened, and bent to 125 degrees. He was thorough with my exams before and after, pleasant while still being professional.
Dr. Gaines has seen my 12 year old for several injuries. He has taken great care of her and does a wonderful job explaining what to expect with the treatment and healing process.
Dr. Spellman, was very knowledgeable, kind and very kind to listen to my problems of finding a new pain management physician . It took a while to get and appointment, but I knew this was going to happen, because a lot of people were needing a new physician Thanks for your kindness!!

At my age I have a number of physicians that I see on a regular basis. While I respect the others, Dr Spellman is by far the best. One typically creates a professional relationship with attending doctors, but I can honestly regard him as a friend as well. Rare these days with insurance regulations limiting a doctors in-depth interaction with patients.
Dr. Tankersley performed a knee replacement and a hip replacement on me, plus removal of a hematoma. He has done a great job on the surgeries. Plus he is gracious and kind. I saw him a while back at the suggestion of a family member who was then his patient. Every time i drive past his then office in Tampa, I cant help but shudder at the inordinate amount of scripts he wrote with no resulting relief.

I've been seeing Dr. Van Horn annually for more than 10 years. His examinations and treatments have been thorough and ably performed. And I plan to continue seeing him as long as he is practicing.
HE IS THE BEST! He knows what he is doing and he will fix what ever it is! I was miserable with lower back pain! It took a year with the spinal epidural injections BUT it worked! Then I had an issue with my shoulder so we both thought and it was my neck, he started those injections and after week one with the neck I am better!!! He knows what to do!!!

successfullly performed my rotator cuff surgery and has subsequently treated both my knees. He patiently takes the time to explain treatment and readily answers any questions. While Optim Care in general is excellent, ive found Dr.Hodges and Optim Physical Therapy to be particularly outstanding.
Doctor Bui has taken great care of my family and I. He preformed emergency brain surgery on me back on April 3, 2018. And the surgery to put my skull back on, on June 28.
I like Dr. Hodges thoroughness I trying to isolate the problem instead of just looking at symptoms.

I have been under Dr. Hodges care for many years. He is an excellent physician with a very broad knowledge of Ortho medicine. He always greets you with a smile and has excellent bedside manners. Very thorough and explains everything in detail. I give him 5 stars. His scheduling staff could use some improvement but overall, He is the best and I will continue to see him when needed.

By far the best Dr. Ive seen in over 10 years of problems with my neck and back. He listens and takes time to discuss treatment and the staff is quick and you dont have to wait long. Im in and out in 45 minutes

I saw him as a second opinion from a previous neurologist. Nearly 50 years experience with epilepsy and he tells me I have psychogenic seizures, aka fake seizures. Referred me to a psychiatrist and that was it.
I get a third opinion a year later from someone else and I am told I have a tumor. I am now seizure free. I cannot recommend this doctor to anyone.
Highly recommended. Dr Kimbrell was amazing. She put my mind at ease and performed assisted robotic surgery on me at Athens Piedmont Hospital a few days ago. I am back home and healing quite well. Thank you, Dr. Kimbrell!

Waited for over an hour past my appointment time only to be rushed and have my questions dismissed. Cant comment on his surgical skills but after my office visit Im definitely not letting him perform surgery on my spine. Lacks the kindness and compassion I need to see in a surgeon in order for me to put my spine/life in their hands.
absolutely the worst medical care experience in my life! Rude, uninformative, refused to do the tests needed to identify the cause of strokes. "I will call you" was the followup. I am embarrassed to have once worked in the same hospital as this doctor. The day after discharged by this so called doctor-back in the ER with another stroke. Obviously we did not go back to Ochsner.
