Although this pleasant restaurant ranks a distant fifth in Merchants Square, it offers reasonable prices for a mixed lot of salads, sandwiches, and burgers plus meals of beef, ribs, lamb chops, salmon, fried catfish, and house specialties such as lemon-garlic-flavored stir-fry. Each dining room is decorated to match one of the seasons.
If you are not eating in a Williamsburg Tavern but want to stay in the historic area for the evening, many people will opt for a restaurant in the Merchant's square area.
