Schlotzsky's may sound like a New York joint, but the first link in this chain actually opened in 1971 in Austin, Texas. Their original sandwich on warm sourdough bread is still available, but today you can also choose from pizzas, salads, soups and a variety of other sandwiches such as the Texas Schlotzsky's on toasted jalapeño cheese bread or Angus Pastrami Reuben on toasted dark rye bread....

Love their food! The person in the drive thru should be more friendly! Both times I've been here recently, they have been rude and not friendly as someone who is interacting with customers should be!

Used to live in Virginia and this place was the best! I'm so sad that the two Schlotzsky's in San Diego, CA can't even compare to this location's friendly service and well made sandwiches.

We have gone twice to this location and we have been treated poorly both times. The first time we went to pick up our order at the pickup counter and the order was wrong so the employee responded with a bad attitude and we complained to the employee at the register.
