Founded in 1956 as an Italian grocery store, Sbarro serves delicious, fresh & authentic, Italian food in over 1000 locations across 40 countries.
I have been to this Sbarro's many, many times to wrap up happy hours on 2nd Ave. Sometimes the food has been as expected, but sometimes, due to a lack of caring, the employees will feed you half warm pizza. They are also not very friendly.
In Short
Founded as an Italian grocery in 1959 Brooklyn, this family-owned chain has since morphed into the world's largest shopping mall-based eatery, with additional locations in...
Only 3 patrons in the place on a Friday evening in February. Which means, pizza/ pasta has been sitting under the heat lamps for an extended time. Decided not to order food and just have soft drinks. Maybe (hopefully) this place is busier during the summer.
We ate here in Saturday night and each had a slice of pizza with sausage. A few hours later I got severe stomach cramps and diarrhea that lasted a day. Then my husband got sick and he still isn't feeling well 3 days later. Sorry but our experience here was really bad. Buy Imodium before you go.
Sorry, but if this is your style of pizza, over cheesed, over yeasted, doughy, reheated and mundane. This is the place for you, but beware you may anger the Gods of true pizza!
Usually the Pizza is not bad a Sbarro - not true here. We were there on NYE for something quick where we could sit and eat. The pizza was doughy and not good. Although the service is cafeteria style the servers were abrupt and just threw the food on the plate and shoved it at us. Oh, and to top...
After a late night of checking out the bars in Nashville we decided to get some pizza as a late night snack. We got 2 slices and 2 drinks and grabbed table in the back. After a few bites, we noticed a roach crawling on a nearby table. Gross. Skip this place and take your chances at one of the...
This is the worst place I've been possibly ever. Disgusting pizza which tasted like it had been re cooked 5 times and had been sitting there for ten days. Staff could hardly be bothered serving us. There were no customers in there and now we know why. There was actually dirt on the base of the pizza. I think it...
We've eaten at Sbarro on the corner of Commerce and 2nd Ave in Nashville 3 times now over 3 years (always during June visits) and have come to the conclusion that the manager and the franchise really don't take much pride in their store. The food is your average Italian fast food fare, but the restaurant is run down and...
This place is very reasonably priced for downtown area. It is located near my job so I eat here quite a bit. Large inside location, located in a great corner spot on 2nd and Commerce..no private parking lot..so gets a lot of foot traffic. Clean bathrooms but for paying guest only. The food is good. I recommend a slice of...
$3.49 for ONE SLICE OF PIZZA. NOPE, not a good value at all.
I went to Hooter's - the ONLY Place that did not fluff their prices because they was on the Broadway strip.
On balance, bad. Pizza slices are decent but holy smokes! One plain slice and one pepperoni slice with a SMALL side salad cost $11.50!!! Wtf? My friends had pasta and lasagna - the former was...
While not known for gourmet pizza, this particular Sbarro's is below most in quality and cleanliness. Airport locations for some strange reason seem to be better. Strengths:Cheap and walking...
The chain typically has an array of multiple pizzas by the slice, stromboli, some pasta dishes, salad and garlic bread. All good, filling and inexpensive. This Sbarros is good as well and is in a terrific location on Commerce street in downtown Nashville. This Sbarros is different in that it has a large seating area. Great for families or groups...
We went here for a very late supper and the cashiers were not helpful at all. Employees behind counter acted as if you were bothering them and would not even look at you when you were ordering. They barely spoke and when they did you could barely hear them because they looked at the floor when they spoke. Our food...
Sbarro is a nice change from eating at Chick Filet every day and the price is good. But, ((( don't you just hate that word?))) they could heat the food up a...
Your average pizza place. Nothing special just somewhere to grab a quick slice before heading out to downtown.
I ate here twice during my stay hoping that the second time it would be better but it wasn't. the pizza was stale, not very hot and not very cheesy. The salad was ok- not as fresh as it could have been. The price was average. the dip for the pizza save your money as it was the most disgusting...
With it's downtown location. This is a convenient and decent stop after visiting the local bars. Their pizza is above average and tastes better the later it gets.
Wow! It's food of some sort! Ok, the food and service was not bad the last time I went (it has been terrible before), in fact the last time I went would...
In ShortFounded as an Italian grocery in 1959 Brooklyn, this family-owned chain has since morphed into the world's largest shopping mall-based eatery, with additional locations in airports, train stations and college campuses. On-the-go diners line up cafeteria style around exhibition kitchens to choose from ready-made, New York-style pizza slices, calzones, garlic knots and Neapolitan standards, such as lasagna, chicken parmigiana and baked ziti. Most locations offer communal seating in a casual, bus-your-own-table setting.
