Sam's Texas Sub Shop

We've been here twice and I think it's out new weekend lunch spot! The subs are delicious and the Saturday special is great. But a footling sub (absolutely enough for two) and get a free drink and side. The owners are so friendly and we're lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

Easily best sandwich shop in Norfolk! Santa Fe dip is amazing. The owners are the only employees so everything is made as if every customer is family and service is fantastic even with just the two of them running the show

Smacking myself for living a block away and never trying it until today. Excellent food quality, relaxed and inviting atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff! Plus you can sit on the patio with your furbabies!

My first visit was yesterday and I was blown away! Not only was the food amazing (we had the three amigos sub and the homemade BBQ with the macaroni and potato salad) the owners are amazing people. And then I found out they were building a fence to make the place more dog friendly than they already were. As someone with three dogs I consider family this put them at the top of my awesome list!...

Truly, A Hidden Gem. One of the best sub shops in the Hampton Roads area. I highly recommend the black and blue but you can't go wrong with the other subs. The brisket was tender and delicious. The perfect amount of blue cheese that wont over power the taste. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Just stopped in for the first time. The staff is wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a BBQ sub and their homemade chicken flautas. Both are incredible, but I can definitely see myself developing a pretty steady flauta habit. The restaurant itself is clean and has a fun atmosphere. Can't wait to go back! :)
