The reviews I read before walking in to this salon had me believing I was going to a much nicer place then it actually turned out to be. The pictures make it look like a hip salon but in reality it felt more cluttered then anything. I made my own coffee while I waited no one offered to make it for me, which is okay because i prefer to make my own. The only good part about this experience was Ashley cutting my hair, I might go back just to see her.

Not only did my hair come out just like I had hoped, my daughters also. I could not believe how accommodating the whole experience was. The girl at the desk brought me a special coffee and with the color on my head I sat under this machine to make it come out perfect, it was warm and comfortable, never seen that before, I watched everyone there getting the same great service we were getting, WOW. I will tell all my friends about this salon. Go NOW. My daughter is in love with Courtney and I have found my new stylist in Kathy. My Husband has been seeing Ashley and I'm so glad I finally...

I am a recent transplant to the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake from San Diego, CA.

I went to the Battlefield salon and was told that my haircut would be between $25-$35 depending on the stylist. I felt this was reasonable and had no problem with it. However, the stylist asked me if I wanted my hair curly or straight when it was dried and I told her it didn't matter. She said she would flat iron it and I said no problem. This is an exceptional salon. The staff are professional and knowledgeable. They are there to serve your every need. I have been a customer for over 8 years and can confirm that ALL the stylists are EXCELLENT! They have received lots of awards for their superb service.

Expensive "do" – Stopped into Pembroke Rudy and Kelly's for a foil and trim. I did like the job done BUT, when I was told the charge was $185.00 I almost fainted! Left for a Las Vegas trip the following day and saw I could have gotten the same foil and trim in a very nice salon for LESS than I'd paid at an average mall salon. No offence to the girl who did my hair but that is NOT the type salon I'd EVER pay that much again. Lesson learned

I've been going to R & K for over 3 years now and there are reasons for this. The whole group there is hair talented, hair creative and hair knowledgeable. The ladies all have their own personalities and styles. Love going there!
