We called Roto-Rooter, Virginia Beach, VA, on 18 May about a stopped up commode. Alonzo, employee 1678, was dispatched to take care of our problem, and arrived within the appointment window we had been promised. After talking to Alonzo about the commode and some other plumbing problems we were having, we decided to avail ourselves of the whole house sewer line/drain cleaning special. Customer Service was very professional through the phone call. I suggested the work order be completed from 9-11am and the technician did not make it out to my house until after one. He was able to fix the Blockage in the drain line and was knowledgeable on what to do when reviewing the drain issues. The technician was able to take 15% off for being over 2 hours late. Came with a 6 month warranty on the drains. Can't complain here.

We were so impressed with Roto Rooter. We booked an appointment on their website at 6 a.m. this morning and immediately received a confirmation. About an hour later, they called to confirm and let us know the tech was on the way. His name was Wayne (Tech #108) and he arrived just after 8 a.m. He located the cleanout in the backyard, snaked it out to the street, and was very professional, friendly and informative the entire time. Kyle Harris #1014 was our service technician on Saturday April 25 and he arrived promptly to attend to our plumbing issue. He initially thought he would have to remove out toilet to fix the problem but really worked hard at finding another solution which he did! This saved us time, money and additonal cleanup and mess. It was truly a blessing to have Roto Rooter come and fix the problem we were having. Prior to them coming we had 2 other companies attempt to fix the clog.....then they recommended you guys. Our company was on their way!....and then....the drains overflowed! Called Rotor-Rooter and they were able to send Ernest Temple to our home on a Sunday. He was there about three hours and fixed everything. He rooted, snaked, and camera read the problem. This fine young man was polite, competent, and very knowledgeable. Roto-Rooter came out to my property for a plumbing back up that was coming from my washing machine. Shawn Prunty put my mind at ease as soon as I started talking to him. He waited through three whole wash cycles to make sure that the problem was resolved. I would recommend Roto-Rooter for anyone who wants a job done right with great customer service.

Christmas morning found our drains completely stopped, we spent a day trying old methods without any luck. On the day after, we called Roto-Rooter and Shawn Prunty showed up within the hour. On a Saturday morning we had what to us was a plumbing disaster. All drains and toilets were gurgling and backing up. We have a home warranty company and immediately called them. To our extreme disappointment, the servicer they chose first said they would not be out until the following day, then later stated they “did not handle” our type of problem. I am writing to review the service call I received today from the Virginia Beach Roto Rooter. The technician arrived within the scheduled window of time. He got right to work on clearing my clogged up tub. He quoted me the estimate and that is what I paid. Although the service men were friendly - nothing was organized. I needed a camera and the first service guy told me his was broken and after he cleared the line he would have another tech come by and camera the line - that the tech should call me that afternoon or the next morning.
