We were driving north to Boston from the Outer Banks and stopped here for lunch. I had a delicious eggplant parm sandwich and a side meatball (true test of a good Italian restaurant) and my husband had a veal & sausage sub. Everything was served hot & delicious! The owner grows his own eggplant and makes the sausage on premises....

Great Eggplant Parmesan

Tuesday night is buy one pasta, get one free! Good prices. Eggplant parmesan is among best I've had. Olive oil in it is delicious. Lots of variety in salad bar, even boiled eggs during egg shortage! Bread is warm and delicious! Portions are huge; you have to take some to go. Servers keep checking on you. Excellent!

This is a great Italian restaurant (there are a few in the area of Tappahannock (family owned).The best food and very clean and everyone there is so friendly.......Fantastic salad bar. If you stop in say Hi to John (the owner) he is alway busy and a very hands on type of guy.....he makes the best homemade yeast rolls (I think...

The menu is too extensive. I'd rather have fewer choices and know they are prepared well. The food was okay at best. I would have liked the applesauce served in a dish rather than in the prepared packaging. The rolls were the best part of the meal. Fresh and homemade. The wait staff was friendly.

I eat at Roma at least once a week. I have never had a bad meal, the pizza is the best. Staff is always friendly, the dining room is always clean. Beautiful building both inside and out.

Pizza was really good and tasty. And the rest of the entrees were good but nothing out of the ordinary! The bread and salad bar were fresh! Service needs some improvement since the waitresses aren't familiar with the menu for the price paid. Recommend a smaller menu and formal training and this location will have potential for excellence!

Stopped for dinner with the family. Pizza was tasty and reasonably priced. This crust and obviously cooked on a real stone. We will return.

Roma's has been around for a long time, although they are now in a nice, new facility. I ate here several times while on a business trip, and the service and food were both good.
You really can't go wrong with Roma!

Nice casual atmosphere and the owner was nothing but pleasant. The service was good even though the restaurant was very,very busy. Large menu with varying prices. I loved the Josepina even though I had to add salt(which I prefer to do myself). Eggplant parmigiana and chicken cacciatore also very good.
