Help us make it rightI have eaten here several times and now have a Service Dog again. The staff didn't "bat an eye" at our arrival. We were welcomed and well accomidated. As always the food was delightful. The only thing I want the Chef to know is to go a little easier on the salt. This is as much Fine Dining as 'Sprots Bar'. They have a varied menu with some WONDERFUL Low Country Luziana recipies such as the Shrimp and Grits. Scrumptious. And a wonderful She Crab soup. The prices are reasonable and service is excellent. ENJOY :D
Most overrated sports bar ever. Save yourself some trouble and just avoid this place. The food and service continue to decline as prices go up. Staff has no incentive to give good service, since…
I thought Roger Brown's was great. It add more class to the historic city of Portsmouth. They are all things to all people. Great staff, a wide variety of sports and a very extensive menu. I will be back.
This sports bar, located in Downtown Portsmouth, has a classier feel than your average run-of-the-mill sports hangout. The inside has a rich look and feel, with dark wood, a really large bar, several…
The only appeal of this place are the jumbo TV screens that are ideal for watching your favorite sports. Other than this, the food is bad and the service is mediocre.
My boyfriend and I went here on a weekday for dinner, and it was pretty empty. It has a good layout, and a lot to look at (tvs, sports memorabilia), so it seems like it'd be a pretty cool place to…
Not being a big sports gal, sports bars are a bit of a mystery to me. What I gather is that they should be big with lots of TV screens tuned to a variety of sporting events and an assortment of fans…
Roger Brown's is a really cool local place located in Downtown Portsmouth. This is the kind of place where every time you go you can pick something different to order off of the menu. I actually have…
Love this place! Real good real southern and soul food with things like fried...
I ate here with my mom when I was staying out at the marina one weekend. It was nice and relaxing outside. I highly suggest the crab soup...at least I think it was Crab Bisque...could have been…
This is a great place to dine. The food is good and if you like sports this is the place to go. I love the booth each time I go they always seem to give us good seatings.
Went with some friends to have a place to hang out and have a few drinks. I enjoyed the food, it was comfort food I would say. I like the location. The prices were right in the middle. It is a large restaurant with good booths.
This is a great place for sports fans. The food is great, the servers are nice, and there are tons of TVs to watch the game. If you go, save room for desert!! The baked cookie is the best desert I've ever had!
Pros
+ good food, good beer selection, great place to watch the game
Cons
- near the bar is smokey
We went here after my cousin's wedding and before the reception. The appetizers were great and they were QUICK with drinks and food. We ate outside and it was nice. It's not really a family environment but if you are looking for a great…
Roger Brown's is a great place to watch a football game or fight. It's also a great family friendly restaurant with awesome food. Check out the menu to find Chicken and Waffle, Iceberg Lettuce Wedge, and many delicous entrees. …
