very friendly staff. good food, cheap prices, fast service...and...karaoke!! wednesdays!!!
The food is excellent. The staff is very cordial and clean. The place is very comfortable and clean. The prices are very good. I will go there anytime. Also, they gave us so much food. So you really get your money worth.
Glorified Chi Chi's but it is close to home and somewhat reasonably priced.
This was the WORSE experience I have EVER had. Don't waste your time! The food was nasty and the service sucked!
This is one of the few places to get horchata. It's almost worth the trip alone.
The service stinks. They now add 15% gratuity to orders of two or more and you have to do all the work yourself! We used to be regulars but now I will never go here again. Good luck if you have a problem, they won't make it better
Great food with cheap prices. Service is great and the food doesnt take
long at all and of course free chips and dip.
Holy hell! This is the best, most authentic mexican food I have
ever had. If you like Taco Bell, don't go to this place. The
atmosphere is somewhat like a cantina, and the selection is HUGE!
I would like to point out one particular thing on the menu, but
everything is excellent! There are very few places where you
can't go wrong with anything, but this is one of them. I like
how they even...
Good restaurant where the staff shows great hospitality. Food is always
good. Try the tacos de carne asada and agua de horchata to drink.
I'm from Texas where the are Mexican resturants every place and
I have a very deep love for Mex food. That being said I have to say Rey Aztace
is the best one I've ever eatin at. Every thing is good. The service,
the atmosphere, the food. I have eatin there almost weekly (sometimes
twice weekly) for years. AND we aren't the only ones. We see the
same folks all the time. It's awesome. One year,...
Great food at a cheap price. This is a very fun place to go and is on the
heels of Plaza Azteca. Between these two its hard to decide which one
to go to.
This used to be our spot but now there are new owners and a new very expensive menu. Be careful they now add 15% gratuity to all parties of two or more and the kicker is one of the main waitresses is???
how upsetting! do not go by the online menu... the 'affordable' prices have changed and must be updated. Not only was i shocked at the price when i went to pick it up after ordering based on the online menu, but the food was not ready. I was told 10 minutes and i gave them 20 because i had to leave work to go get it. I still had to stand around 10 minutes. I hate writing bad reviews,...
friend recomended place, waitress not so friendly....charged me for two refills on a half empty glass of " diet pepde" ( not a typo), gave me wrong food and was asking for a tip at the end of the meal. made us all late back to work. if you want mexican, go to plaza.
I love coming here it's a nice place Mondays they have karaoke and I love...
My husband and I went here because our friend's had a gift certificate and a discount coupon. The food was reasonably priced, the waitstaff was friendly, and we didn't wait very long for our food. It wasn't...
My favorite here is a simple chicken and cheese quesidilla with their famous warm nachos and white salsa. And don't forget flan or fried ice cream for dessert ! The staff is friendly and quick, and you can't...
not nearly as good as it was say a year ago. not sure if ownership has changed or not, but food tastes very different and "blah". used to be crowded and busy all the time, now its always slow with few cusomers. the shopping center has lost a couple of businesses in the last year so that may be hurting their customer base. overall, wouldnt recommend, but staff is nice.
We visited this restaurant today, and I can safely say it was some of the blandest Mexican food I've ever had —and I'm not talking about heat. While I'll admit our family's standards are a bit exacting, because we've lived out west and in Southwest Texas, there are several restaurants in the area that are infinitely better. If you are in the area, try Cazadores in Suffolk. Also, in West...
for the $ drive to plaza. If it is kereoke night prepare for loud bad singing. Although if you are a people watcher much to be seen and giggle at.
I love this place. Its my favorite place to go for Mexican food.
I had dinner here last night and the service was excellent as was the food. Try the Horchata for a beverage and the tacos de carne asada and pico de gallo salsa are excellent and really authentic both in flavor and presentation!
We love Rey's. Its always clean and the service is great! The food is yummy and you can't beat the prices. Go and Enjoy!
Ray Azteca is my absolute fav mexican food. The food is wonderful. I live in NC now, but everytime I'm back in n.n. i have to go atleast once. I recommend Ray Azteca for anyone who is looking for a neat decorated, great food, and overall good time experience.
Small town feel, warm receptive welcome, clean and wholesome atmosphere, chips and dips X's 2 are delicious, hot out of the kitchen meals, quickly served, make many rounds during the meal for beverage refils, best but not least is the prices are right. I love their Raspberry Tea.
Rey Azteca is one of the best Mexican resturants on the penninsula. The food is great. Very fresh. Although it's not the best looking place inside, the staff is great. They also have a store now where you can buy Mexican spices, hot sauce, etc.
On a recent trip back to NN, I stopped by for dinner at Rey Azreca which was one of my favorite restaurants when I lived in NN. The service by my waitress was excellent, but the food was disapointing. It was not of the quality I remembered, especially the chips and red salsa. My meal of Tacos de Carnitas was pretty mediocre and quite expensive.
