Okay got my couch fixed not a good job but got fixed. my bed is not fixed my couch is paid off on Sept 1 2006 my bedroom set dec 15 2006.
I am still furious but this is just an update i kept trying to call mark speese no reponse i will keep trying!

It is company policy that they are out to your home within 48 hrs to fix merchandise. Call home office until u get what you want let them know what is going on and demand to speak with mark speese he is the ceo of the company and if you call enough times you will get through to him.who cares if hes mad about the payment if he wants it sooner than i guess they will come and fix what they need...

first of all myself and another x-employee are both giveing you this information. no do not pay until it gets fixed or they take u to court. it is in the rental agreement they will fix the merchandies at no extra cost to u the consumer.

We get Rent-to-Qwn adverts in our sunday paper.

Some Rent-to-Qwn adverts will quote weekly [or sometime biweekly] payments for 104 weeks or 156 weeks or 'whatever-weeks'......
It is easy to multiply
(number of weeks) x (weekly payment) = your total price.
Some Rent-to-Qwn total prices WOULD be a 4X cost ratio to WalMart prices, but WalMart is trashed a lot here....
Still, putting that weekly payment into a bank savings account instead...

I really do not understand why

people ever do business with rent-to-own businesses. The final total price a rent-to-own business will charge is about 3X what someone would pay at full retail price, and sometimes the customer can score a good sale at 40% off of full retail price.

Try bargaining with him. If you do return it and get something else, they have to put the money that you put into this set into your new set. Works as long as you are returning a bedroom and getting a bedroom, living room for living room and so on. You keeping the merchandise can lead to so much unwanted action. Keep on him.
