The seats are not the most comfortable, but all of the theaters are kept clean and the screen and sound systems are good.

I've always enjoyed my movie experience at MacArthur. It's convenient and I usually sit where Iwant. The food is pricey, but otherwise with my free Regal discount card, I sometimes get free movie tickets and popcorn.
Conveniently located on the third floor of MacArthur Center. Great selection of snacks and movies. Military discount available (tickets only that is). I only awarded 4 out of 5 because it can get really crowded. There's lots of teens and they can be a bit loud.

It is a nice sized theater. I love the seating and location, but the parking can be inconvenient though after spending so much on a movie!
This theatre is clean and nice. Even on their busiest of days (the 12:01 first showing of the new Star Wars) We were pretty much able to walk right in and get a seat. I have never stepped in mystery substances on teh floor and the seats are comfortable and conducive to cuddling!

I love to go to the movies. If you're waiting for that "special" someone to take you or you won't go unless you're with someone, put on your shoes and get going. You meet beautiful strangers you wouldn't otherwise meet. Who needs someone eating up all the Sour Patch Kids anywayz...

This is an excellent spot to go see movies. Plays basically all the movies that are currently out at the time. Compared to other movie theater prices are fairly good. Nice place to go after a day of shopping!

This movie house is clean and accommodates well ( i'm a handicapped individual).the acoustics are clear and not over bearing.the staff is helpful and friendly.the complex is easy to find and is convenient being that it's on the top floor of the mall.the food court being adjacent to it is a plus.

Good Movie theater. You can have a meal, shop, and catch a movie. They also validate your parking so you get that at a discounted rate.
If you are already there then yes stay for a movie but don't forget to get your parking ticket validated.

MacArthur Cinema is by far my favorite place to see a movie in the area. You can beat the parking and availability of restaurants and shopping. It's a great place to make an evening of dinner and a movie.

A convenient location inside the mall allows you ample parking, restaurants, or shops to visit on the same trip. A good line-up of shows with comfortable seating as well as booster seats for the kids.
I like these theaters - take in your parking ticket and get it validated at the movies!! If I have time or want to wrap in a visit to the mall McArthur is a great destination!
Always our first choice for the movies, we live between Greenbrier and MacArthur and when it comes to the moveies, I always know where we will end up.
i live on the penn and this my first time going to a theater on the southside. I was blown away by this theater the seating was great and the consession was good as well. i would definatly come back again
I love this theature! Very big and always clean. I think that they stamp your parking pass so you only have 2 pay 50 cent if were in the movie.
This is a great theater located inside McArtur mall with 18 screens. Plenty of room and is always clean. Its just like any other theater as far as price goes...way to expensive

its clean, the sound system is great comfortable seats, AMC 24 in hampton used to be my favorite, i would drive from Chesapeake to hampton just to go to it, but this regal theatre is just as nice and now i don't have to drive as far.

Regal Cinema at McArthur Center is a new, clean theater with the latest in A/V technology. Plus, there are ample restaurants and shops around it.
I go here occasionally. The food is high and the prices of the tickets are higher than at other local theatres. In spite of that, the place is okay.
The Place to go for the latest movies. If you can't find it here it probably has been out too long, or was not that good. Once you go Regal why go elsewhere.
The place had the dirtiest bathrooms I have ever seen in a theater. The prices are higher than other theaters and the kid that work the concession stand are just plain rude.
All the convenience expected of a theatre in the middle of a downtown shopping mall. Parking is cheap and close. But sadly, the service is subpar, the theatres are dirty and poorly kept, and the projection is often dark and unattended.
