My birthday visit

Average Rating
100

On my birthday this past Sunday, I enjoyed seeing "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" while I was there. The movie, along with the food and drink, were great. Seating was fine.

Pretty dated and not well maintained

Average Rating

Although it has stadium seating, the seats are pretty old. I've lived in the area for about 15 years and I cannot recall any type of renovation. On our most recent visit, I noticed a smell that was slightly nauseating. I thought maybe I was alone until my son asked me about it. It kind of smelled like an iron...

Very disappointed in the sound quality of the Lion King showing at the Regal Columbus 12 Theatre. The sound was turned down so low all you could hear throughout the entire movie was crinkling candy wrappers and people chomping popcorn! Also the surround sound was not working. I can get better sound quality out of my living room tv speakers! Was not worth the money spent! The sound track to this...

not bad for a multi plex

As big multiplex theaters go, Regal Columbus 12 gets the job done. The theaters are small, but there are several of them so if there's a film you want to see, you'll most likely find it here. Pros: the theaters' location by Pembroke Mall is convenient if you have multiple errands. Cons: traffic.

Our Favorite Movie Theater!

Tons of showtimes, tons of flicks! It can get busy but it is never overcrowded. Great location, plenty of dining options nearby so you can grab a meal before your movie and still not be late.

I highly recommend this theatre. In the mid 2000's there was a young Asian male with a great edge-up that worked there. He was highly likable. He sang us songs, danced, and made us feel so comfortable. I encouraged the managers to promote this young Asian male, although, they did not. That is the only complaint. Overall, the staff is most hospitable, especially that young Asian male from the...

It's really good, but don't take my word for it.

Great smaller theatre, good staff

Average Rating

I used to work in a similar sized theatre in Florida and I'm always really impressed when I go to Columbus. You can tell they have an older building (especially compared to AMC 18) but it's always very clean and the staff is always nice.

It's definitely 110% better than sitting across the street at their other theatre at Pembroke mall. The reason they don't show ""black"" films is because people like to play the race card instead seeing the actual problem: they only have 12 auditoriums, so they're obviously going to get the highest grossing movies...regardless of what color the lead...

An Intelligent Reaction to previous responses

It still amazes me that people still making sweeping generalisations about people, especially black people, in such an disparaging way. Yes, maybe culturally, some people, maybe black people -- and who's not to say the Jewish and Samoans -- do the same thing when they get into a movie? Comments at the screen happen. I've never seen it get out of hand. To the contrary, I've seen it add to the...

I haven an idea, hey nononcents stop trying to apologize for being white and do something more constructive with yourself. And as for you GREEND111366 if you dont like the film selection go somewhere else!

never show black movies

Average Rating

To ""badnews11"": Is that a fact? Hmmm...interesting. How are you sure your statements are the reason Regal Columbus 12 never show black movies? Are you part of or affiliated with the theater management?
Although I get very annoyed with rude and inconsiderate people in movie theatres, and wish they would either leave or stop the misbehavior, I would not let that stop me from coming to my neighborhood theatre. But rudeness can be any one of any race at any time. IF Columbus 12 deliberately choose not to show movies led by black stars, then I willI no longer support them. I can also help get...

never show black movies

They don't show black movies because it will attract black people. I don't think they are biased but black people always ruin the movies for others by talking and walking around the whole entire movie. The theatres that show many black movies have very low turnout and eventually go out of business (just like the local malls that have gone out of business (coliseum in HAMPTON and Newmarket Mall...

Never show any black Movies

I like to go to Columbus 12 Movie theater, but I am noticing that it never shows any movies with black movies even if it is the best selling movie of that week. if I want to see a movie by Tyler Perry, Spike Lee, or even one like American Gangster I have to go to Pembroke. I am not saying that the theather is biased but it makes you wonder.
