Our room was comfortable, clean, and close to everything we needed. We were there on vacation, so it was about a 20 minute drive to the beach. They have friendly employees who were very helpful! It was worth what you pay, which is much cheaper than most in the area.

Stayed at the Red Roof for 3 nights and had a great experience. Das was very helpful and provided great customer service. My children really enjoyed the pool it was very clean and fun environment. Overall great experience.
If you are looking for a hotel that is not far from the beach that will save you money, you should stay here. The hotel is clean (this is not to say that it is perfect as there were marks on the wall and our ice bucket was dirty), the staff is nice and approachable, and the room was affordable....

5 minutes after we checked in, there's was a 3 inches of cockroach crawling on the wall. Told the front desk so they gave us a different room but its under the same building. There were also dead bugs lying around the edges of the bulidings. Had no choice but to cancel the room.

This is a convenient location to the airport but that's about it. The room was clean and neat, but no amenities like an iron, a dryer, or hand lotion were to be found. The property was old and needs some paint and renovation. Still, clean and relatively quiet for a night or two.
A clean room, an exercise area for our dog and easy access to the tunnel along with reasonable rates make this our choice in the fall and spring. They offer discounts for AAA and seniors, be sure to enter that in the search box of the web page.

We were there for three nights. After the first night, they took the towels we used, but give us new ones. They also did not empty the trash. Barely above what I would consider livable. The neighborhood was rough and we were thirty minutes from the beach. All in all, I doubt we'll stay there again.

Everything was fine. In spite of all the people it was quiet, got a good night's sleep before the half marathon. I guess a coffee pot in the room would have been good since we had an early start and the lobby wasn't open when we left. Other than that, it was exactly what we expected.
The air-conditioner worked great! And the shower was nice.\n\nThe sheets were not clean had to get fresh ones.\n\nOverall me and my family had a pleasant stay at the hotel.It was conveniently located in between Norfolk and Virginia Beach. I will definitely use Priceline again in the future!
Quiet surroundings with numerous restaurants nearby.\n\nNo coffee pot or hair dryer in room.\n\nFor the accommodations I required, the hotel was perfect. I experienced no pest, no noise and housekeeping were fast and efficient.
Location.\n\nStaff.\n\nOnce we arrived for check in the hotel staff started to argue amust themselves made us very uncomfortable, once we arrived in the room there were no light bulbs and when we asked for them they sent someone to check first and then go and get bulbs like we were lying or something.
For the amount the of money I paid for the room, I couldn't expect but so much. But we just needed something to stay in for a couple of nights while we went to the beach.
