It's OK, for a neighborhood bar. Not a stand out in any way. The famous poutine was middling. Staff was good.

Aweeome small place with great food!. For date night we enjoyed sandwiches, poutine fries, and cocktails. Friendly service and very reasonable prices!

The Red Dot is more than a bar/resteraunt... It is an atmospheric experience with unique menu, attentive bar staff, and sociable waiters/waitresses. Each day has a different food special which have been built off of their best selling meals and appetizers. Great atmosphere and good customer service. Nice quiet, elegant place for Italian cuisine. We ordered the lasagna and a angel hair pasta. Both excellent and filling. The pasta I ordered had little pieces of meat in it too, but I couldn't figure out what it was, otherwise the pasta had a lot of flavor. I believe the pasta is homemade too. For dessert we had the tirisimu, and it was amazing. Full of flavor and better than anything store bought or home-made.
