I have reviewed Primo before. As a Philadelphia transplant followed by a few years in New York, that sets a very high bar for pizza authenticity. I have tried over a dozen pizza locations in Virginia Beach and find Primo to be the most authentic - flavor and crust characteristics.

Probably the best NY Style pizza in this particular area. Every pie is perfection. They also have a great little bar and restaurant area with a nice yet casual laid back feel with great Italian classic fare. Locals love this place - don't let the strip mall location fool you. It is quite nice inside. The lunch menu is surprisingly reasonable for the substantial portions. Lasagna and iced tea, $10.50. Add in the complimentary fresh-baked bread (first loaf, then $2 per loaf), and you have a lovely meal for a little more than a fast food combo....

This is their new location at Brennan Farms Shopping Center at the intersection of South Plaza, Princess Anne and Providence. Long time customer. I have been coming here since I was 10. and 20 years later Primo's still has the best ny style pizza in town. Real cheese. Also the Greek salad is by far my favorite anywhere. We love eating at Primo. They have the best bread in town to start. Their salads are hearty and their ranch dressing is delicious! The Veal marsala is soooo tasty. My other favorite is Shrimp and Crab Alfredo and I am getting hungry writing this review! This is our favorite lunch and dinner spot in town. When the family visits from out of town ...we eat at Primo!
