A great place to grab take out. Fabulous fried chicken and killer chicken livers made to order. But I would never want to actually eat my food there, front counter is very hit or miss with being polite and very run down tables and chairs. But I keep going back for a big box of juicy bird!

I've been eating at Pollard's Chicken since I was a little child. They have the best fried chicken in Hampton Roads. Great atmosphere and staff. Good prices, too.

I am not at all surprised that Pollard's won the Best of Hampton Roads Gold Award for their chicken for the past 20 something years. I never had a bad piece of chicken from this restaurant yet. Do yourself a favor and have dinner there today.

Good ol southern fried chicken. Just like your at grandma's
house. Hardee's and KfC are good but this place is homestyle.

The best southern chicken you can get without leaving the area.
You can't miss it. Just look for a big chicken on the roof and
your in the right place. If you can't get back down south to
get some of the home cooking, this might be the next best thing.

If you crave good old southern fried chicken, then this is the
place for you. Set up like many of the others but the care and quality
that goes into their prep far exceeds the others. A++++
