So my six year-old had a rhinestone stuck in her ear (I know, why she thought THAT was a good idea is beyond me...oh yeah, she's six:) Having had a great experience with our 13 year-olds soccer injury, we headed in. We were seen promptly and with kindness. The Doctor looked in, found a microscopic pair of tweezers and voila! We were on our way, no tears in sight. Until...the bill arrived. We had paid the $30 co-pay as anticipated, but they were asking for another $150 and coded it as surgery! Letters and conversations yielded no change...Too bad, we will NOT be back. Perhaps I could have purchased their tweezers for $100 bucks and called it a day?
