This place is great. Best place for Greek bar none in this area. Spanakopita, Pastitsio, Yigendes are all delicious, and the Dolmades are to die for! People who give this place a bum rap probably don't have any idea what Greek is in the first place. We love this place!

Best Greek food in Hampton Roads bar none. The salad was wonderful with just the right amount of everything. I loved the bread and butter that they bring before your meal. Prices are excellent and the atmosphere makes you truely feel as though you are somewhere different. Sometimes the waitstaff can be a little slow but when the food comes it is worth the wait. The lunch pizza/salad combo is definitely worth it as well. I try to go here at least once a week. It's that good.

I would say the fare here is American-Greek vs. true Greek like you'd find in Chicago's Greektown. But I am not complaining one bit!

I had an excellent dish & the service was wonderful. Three was an adequate selection of wines and the prices were terrific. It's not a date place -- more like a lunch or dinner with the husband & kids restaurant -- but I'll definitely be back.

This Greek restaurant is very solid, if not special. A very comfortable place with good service and a decent selection of beers (including local craft brews). The choices for real Mediterranean food is limited in Norfolk, and this is as good as any.

Great food, Great Service. I'll venture to say, Orapax Inn is the best Greek restaurant in Norfolk. Enjoyed another fabulous meal. Great service from waiter Mark H. and his helpers. You call this Greek Food?. A gyro does not make a place a Greek Restaurant...And people who claim it's a great gyro are silly. A gyro is a gyro is a gyro!!! Nice. Been going here since the 80"s when it was just a small place with barrel chairs and the owner then, Nick, would sit in room and converse with customers. Have always had friendly service and enjoy their menu. I have never eaten authenic Greek food so have no comparsions but I love their presentations. The homemade bread is to die for.

Great food & atmosphere. My husband and I have been to Orapax several times and have only had a bad experience once. Without writing a book about it I will say that the manager handled the situation appropriately and it did not stop us from going back. Their Greek salads and bread are DELICIOUS, and their lunch specials are a pretty good value. I always order the lunch Chicken Parmesan, and it...

Price Increase. Apparently the Mezedes platter has jumped from $29.99 to $39.99... Quite a leap with no real discernible difference in the product. (In fact they left out the warm pita bread that has come with it in the past.) Probably won't go back....

From start to end, not a good experience at all. Early Saturday evening and not so busy. The most apologetic waiter was slow, forgetful, and unaccomodating for the not-so-trivial (like waiting 15 minutes w/ empty drinks which also means that we did not see John for 15 minutes). Owner/manager/the guy who has his picture at the restaurant's website saw the problem, told the waiter, but failed to make the corrections himself. Sampler platter was tepid at best with the only warm item the beans, and the food lacked taste. Chicken-on-a-stick for the wife was OK.

In fact my friends insisted that we go back there on another evening before they left town. They loved it. Service is always good and the people who work there are always nice and courteous.
