Worse restraunt experience of my life. I came with a group of 8 coworkers to throw a going away party for another coworker. This was a terrible experience from the moment I walked in.

A new little gem in Old Town Petersburg

Went to Alibi's on a recent visit. What a great little place with really nice decor. We wanted a cocktail (at lunch, don't judge, ha!) The bartender prepared 3 different cocktails and we got to choose which one we wanted and they were all amazing. We ordered grilled cheese sandwiches which were presented in tall glass mugs with a warm...

Best food in Petersburg

I've been there several times and its has never disappointed me. The BEST food, entertainment and cocktails in Petersburg. The menu and drinks are seasonal. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. It can get a little slow at times when it is busy but that is to be expected. The atmosphere is very inviting. The chef Zak is excellent...

has gone downhill

Sorry to say, this place has gone down hill quick. Went for brunch today. I ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was nonexistent and the sausage tasted canned. The fresh homemade biscuits must have been made fresh a week ago. Not to mention everything was COLD. The potatoes were not even warm. I mentioned this to the server and her...

Overall Very Good

The service was friendly but a little slow. I had to ask for a lemon for my water 3 times before they remembered. They brought the appetizer out at the same time as our entrees which was also annoying but the food was great and very filling. The fried green tomatoes were wonderful but it said they came topped with...

Well, we placed our order here 1-1/2 hours ago

In that 1-1/2 hrs, drank 3 glasses of tea and still no onion ring appetizer or main order. The place smells delicious, expecting good food but we may pass out b4 it gets here. The place must be famous because Wayne Covil just got seated next to us. Maybe he's here to give a report for 6 on your side....

Great New Place

Great new place in Petersburg. Will likely be the #1 place in the tri-cities soon as they serve a good variety and there is an actual place to site down and enjoy yourself!

Great Food

I haven't been to Alibi's since they opened. It was refreshing. The decor was comfortable and the food was very good. I had the Bar-b-q lunch special - it was delicious, plentiful and spicy. My friend had the grilled cheese and soup. It was also tasty but very messy - need to think of a different way to serve. The...

My husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try one Saturday night after reading others reviews. We love Old Towne Petersburg and most of the restaurants but wanted to try something new. We were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress. She was very knowledgeable of the food, drinks and menu items, however, the menu was somewhat limited...

Killer Shrimp and Grits

Average Rating

We went as a group and everyone tried everyone's food. All fantastic. The shrimp and grits were my favorite, but the chef makes some mean hot kimchi. Menu changes daily, but I can't imagine a bad meal here. The interior was redone and it looks great. Definitely another trip here--can't wait.

Old Towne Alibi did not disappoint. The old towne alibi is a great spot to go and get some great food. The food is by far the best from any other place I have been to in the area. You can tell the Chef puts his heart into everything he makes. I give 5 stars to the chef. The service is just as great. They have great personalities that make you feel at home the whole time you are there. They...

Great new addition to Petersburg Eateries

Opened in late summer 2014 - beautiful new interior - lots of work done to this old building in the heart of lower North Sycamore Street. Menu choices are unique and freshly prepared by an excellent chef. Prices are moderate - has liquor license for great after work refreshments.

Among the best. The food was excellent!!! This restaurant ranks among one of the best restaurants that I have ever eaten at. Between the hospitality of the waitress staff and the chief preparing all the food fresh and in front of you. You will not leave unsatisfied.

Crab cakes. With fried bell peppers and ham cracklins
