"Huge portions" of "tasty" rustic Italian food like "traditional" pastas lure regulars to these "cozy" "neighborhood" spots also known for "reasonable" tabs and a "decent wine selection"; add in "helpful" service and "comfortable" settings, and no wonder many would "like to have a place like this nearby."

If I'm craving something tasty, cheesy and delicious, I like Olazzo. My favorite dish is their lasagna bolognese, it's huge so I do share it with my husband or bring it home for lunch the next day. It's cozy inside, we've had many other dishes...

Olazzo can be busy with tables sometimes a bit too cozy, but it is because the food is delicious, the rooms are welcoming and warm as are the staff. One of the best places for Italian food in Bethesda and maybe anywhere north of DC....

Have been going to olazzo since the first week it opened. Great food at very reasonable prices. And great atmosphere. Love the mango salmon and Shrimp and Crab Rose. The brothers who own it are creative and friendly.
Great neighborhood haunt.

Although we go for the pasta, I've always thought that was a very interesting thing.

I had one of the best seafood dishes I have had in a while. It was an off the menu special and appeared to be a play on the classic fruits of the sea dish. Mussels, calimari and jumbo shrimp on top of angel hair with a marinara/cream sauce mix.

Delicious and Cozy. A friend took us to Olazzo, our first time there, and I must say the food is delicious, the atmosphere cozy. I ordered the Pasta Primavera, which is full of fresh veggies and cooked absolutely to perfection. My husband had the Lasagna, which I sampled, and he was very pleased as well. Double Great!. Another weekend in Bethesda for daughter's lacrosse tournament, and this time brought the hubby. The three of us plus another mother/daughter combo had a delicious dinner at Olazzo's. Consistently good, red sauce Italian. An excellent value - all entrees come with salad and bread - in a cozy atmosphere. Dozens of martinis on the menu, but they're hit or miss. After some trial and error, I stick with a glass of Chianti.

A nice mid-scale Italian in an area lacking much of that. Very cozy in a good-date-place, not stuffy, way. Flipside is that not child friendly when we needed it to be.

A very nice, modest Italian restaurant with a limited but delicious menu. Small quarters. Dark. Can get busy, but the coziness lends an intimate feeling on less crowded nights.

Good, but inconsistent.

Great food, reasonable prices. Red sauce is fantastic, love the lasagna.

Simply wonderful. From the long wine selection to the variety of entrees. The small dining area with the dim lighting and soft candles makes it a must stop anytime I visit. Just wonderful.
