North Banks Restaurant & Raw Bar Restaurant Review

It’s hard for a seafood restaurant to stand out from the crowd in a coastal town, but North Banks' menu distinguishes itself with dishes like bird's nests and crab “grenades.” For lunch, try the grilled shrimp BLT wrap, a pimento burger or the jambalaya. Fire Bugs, a house specialty, would be crawdad tails and pickled jalapeño rings --- dusted, fried and served with a special Louisiana dipping...

Last night went looking for a particular restaurant in the dark but couldn't find it. We came upon this place by accident and so glad we did. The crab soup was amazing with just enough kick. The oysters were great as well. What a delight meal and the place was packed but with no wait. Definitely will be back!

This is our favorite restaurant in the Outer Banks. Always have exceptional service and excellent meals! One dissapointment on our latest visit...the Colossal Crab Grenades were the size of quarters! They used to be much more substantial. Won't stop us from going but definitely a bummer.

Best food in Corolla unless you catch it yourself! Servers have that beyond friendly southern hospitality! It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for! Been going there for years and head back every time I visit!

Awesome crab grenades. Everything we ate was great! Wonderful service too.

Servers are great. Particularly at the bar.Steamed options are good. Strong seafood combos.

Oysters!!! Getting drunk fast? Grab 2 zombie. You'll be there in a min.

The Clams here are awesome!

Tile Fish special topped with chevre and micro greens over a polenta cake.

There is a lot of horrible seafood served in the outer banks. It is often frozen and what is served arrives in globes of fried dough that could be anything.
