My daughter loves Larrymore elementary school. She is in 1st grade. I hate that this will be her last year. They are the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. I have yet, in her 3 years in school, received a phone call about delays or early dismissal. Thank god I have a friend who's kid is in a nps who relays the message to me. Just blows my mind.

The schools here are really bad for many reasons. The buildings are old and terrible, the food is really bad too. Nothing works as it should, also it's more like a prison system than a school system.

Why in 19° weather are kids forced to Wait at bus stops and walk to school? With a wind chill dropping the temperature to below zero in some areas, why would you allow your child to be out in this kind of weather?

25 degrees ,wind shield 5. Yet these poor kids are standing out at a bus stop. 2hr delay people, 2hr delay..

The vague call I received today about threats to Northside was ridiculous!!! Why was school continuing even an option?! Luckily I had my child out for an appt at the time and didn't allow her to return. I can't believe it was taken so lightly and I don't feel that school should be in session until you can assure parents it is totally safe. This is so sad!

Nps, threats of school shootingd and all you do is tell parents there's no need for alarm. Don't even let the children know so they can at least have the OPTION to call parents to go home or take more precautions. This day and time, you cannot take such threats lightly. School should just be dismissed and metal detectors placed all the schools. ALL of them. Monorails and atrip malls shouldn't...

i just don't get how we have a 3rd grader with a neighbor ONE BLOCK AWAY and their high school kid attends LTHS and our kid with Special needs is relegated to BTWHS . Why is that? Why is my son with autism, ID and ADHD is relegated to BTW? Is it because he's a minority with special needs? He's american indian with a role number, not an immigrant, NPS.

Pay the teachers! Don't set up our students to go into a classroom with a teacher disgruntled because NPS made an administrative decision to be lazy and not pay their instructors their 2nd August paycheck. That's abhorrent!

I can't speak for all nps schools but I can speak for the 3 my son went too, tanners creek elementary was an amazing school with amazing teachers. I never had an issue. Azelea garden middle has got to be the worst I can't even complain enough. I'm still waiting on when there graduation ceremony announcement, which I'm told they have no funding for the ceremony. Norview, my son is an 8th grader...
